Very clean hotel, decent restaurant with excellent selection of hot and cold breakfast menu. The car park is spacious and very close, walking distance to the nearest hiking hubs/public bus stops.

The breakfast is fabulous and the size of our room with it’s private balcony was very nice. The hotel looks a bit dated and it would have been very nice to have a fire in the fireplaces instead of candles placed in front of them. Lastly, the bartender needs training.

Very friendly, clean, excellent location. Breakfast - lots of choices, hot and cold, very nicely presented. Rooms - very clean, spacious, beds comfortable, beautiful view at the mountains. Definitely will come back.

Great prices. Fantastic staff. They were very accommodating. Breakfast buffet was a fantastic Polish spread. The wooden features of the building consist of beautiful traditional mountain craftsmanship.

Excellent smaller size, quiet but close enough to everything. Good parking, good breakfast, wi-fi and comfortable rooms.

On the good side: Very good restaurant, friendly staff, pool, sauna, large parking. Not so good: rooms a bit tired, very thin walls makes it noisy, pool is smaller than appear on photos.

Picked this hotel to be away from busy resort city center. Too far away as it turned out. Really need car/ taxi to get around unless you really like to walk, rain or shine. Very limited activities around hotel area. Pool is a plus. Hotel is nice enough - nothing odd really or off-putting but it is oddly out- of- date for a spring/summer visit. Needs “refreshing”. Room noise, barking dogs in neighborhood disturbing. Staff nice but I would recommend looking for a hotel closer to town. Maybe a cold weather/ ski season stay would be ok - different vibe.

Good to have swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Room is big but it's a bit old. Not quite convenient. Need to walk 10 to 20 min to restaurants. Taxi to city centre.

First rate.My only criticism is that breakfast didn't start until 8.00. For somebody that usually gets up at 6.00 that is a little inconvenient!

The service was very good, the food is excellent! Wide selection of dishes. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The only downside is its distance from center of town. You need to drive and there is not parking. We ended up taking a taxi, it was fairly cheap.

great breakfast with home made food such as smoked meets, salads great fruits and hot buffet that cheanges every day such as pies of pasteries, simple room, free bottles of water as welcome gesture. We got a room with a balcony. Nice swimming pool and jacuzzi open till 2200. It is 4-5 from the center and not as published. From 9 pm you will need a taxi to arrive to the hotel.Nice view from the window to tatra mountains.

Food so, so. WiFi not always working. Otherwise nice service, and room clean.

We arrived on the 29th, and were really greeted with a warm welcome. All receptionists were really helpful that we asked for a change for a better room with a balcony and they did their very best but we decided to keep ours as was still great , but they were about to switch for us. Breakfast was very good and i reccomend the hotel as also good value for money. Average of hotel .. 10 out of 10. Will go again!!

One night and really impressed with facilities but isolated with not a lot going on around and odd check in times. Staff were not very helpful.

Great hotel, big enough to feel like a hotel, small enough to feel like a classic ski lodge. food awesome, staff amazing and amenities have practically everything you could want. Loved it.

My family and I loved the experience of staying in the Skalny Hotel while visiting Zakopane. The hotel is facing the Tatras mountains, which provides a nice view from the hotel rooms. the hotel has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. the breakfast was very good consisting of local favorites. the location of the hotel is also convenient, being 15 minute walk from center of the town and 5 minute bus ride. i recommend highly to stay there for your next trip.
