Great pool

Beautiful pool, nice location.

The check in was a bit annoying. We booked through Expedia, tried to add on an extra night. They told us to book through Expedia they would hold the extra night. We had to rebook everything. Then when we arrived we were told we would have to change rooms for our other 2 days. They were quick about changing our new room the next day. They told us when we went to get more coffee for our room the next day that they don’t clean the rooms, even if you stay for a few days. That stopped during Covid. Odd

The outdoor pool was absolutely fantastic, Carribean quality. I have travelled alot and the interactions I had with the staff were incredible. A couple times I said to myself, " wow that was really good" Gardens around the pool were amazing....And that's coming from a guy that doesn't care about that stuff Will stay here again for sure

The Pool and seating are are very nice enjoyed a lot. Pool and Hot tub were very clean.

Great restaurant , good food reasonably priced

Very well kept property, comfortable beds, beautiful grounds and pool. Restaurant service was extremely slow over 30 minutes for toast and eggs. Would stay there again but skip the restaurant.

We loved the pool and hot tub surrounded by beautiful trees and garden. It was like an oasis. The pool towels were too small and kind of old. The room was great on the pool level but it did smell when we first arrived. Aired it out and it was fine. Ext day same thing but just aired out again. Not sure but it was a funky smell. All in all it was a great stay

Was older, but really well kept & clean. Beautiful swimming pool, restaurant 3.5*, Was 29°, couldn’t reach air conditioner, was a dripping sound all night, not sure where it was coming from.

Clean properly, with an incredible outdoor pool and oasis. Bed was way too soft for me. Dated room but was clean. There was beautiful hanging flower baskets everywhere that I really appreciated.

We chose this resort for a few reasons. One that it to clean the rooms daily, that it had a fridge, a microwave and a table and chairs. We were there for four days after three days of not having the room cleaned and complaining each evening and being told, “ oh they’ll clean it tomorrow” we finally asked for a second room. The fridge in the room only had three legs. This wouldn’t be an issue if you were only there one night but we were there four you have things you need refrigerated. We asked each night for it to be replaced and never was. Our garbage was never removed as well. The staff were always apologetic and told us they would leave notes but nothing ever got done. On the fourth night we were given a new room to sleep in but the tv didn’t work so we were given the old room key back. So we watched tv in one room and slept in the other. We had to laugh at the whole situation. The staff at the front deck did all they could but it never was followed thru. It’s too bad because the ground are so nice but the rooms that we had we not the same.

The check in was very good with the front desk staff being welcoming and helpful (with dining suggestions). Dining suggested were needed as the restaurant is vlosed Monday and Tuesday which is not outlined on the website. The pool area looked lovely (unfortunately the weather wasn't conducive to us using it). We thought the room was tired and could use some updating and thought. For example there was only 1 bedside table and lamp. The pillows and mattress could use upgrading as could the bottom sheet and mattress pad (both of which barely covered the mattress). The shower stall did not have a shelf or partial seat so there was no where to put soap, shampoo, etc. The shower curtain was short so the water escaped onto the floor.

Clean rooms

Overall my stay was okay, the staff were really nice and helpful. I had a great sleep during my stay, the beds are comfy. The room itself was disappointing. Staff had to come in and clean the filter in the bathroom, and replace a set of bedding due a cigarette burn on the top sheet and a weird reddish brown splatter stain on the comforter. Staff replaced it as soon as they were made aware of the concern. The coffee machine and microwave looked brand new, the rest of the kitchen items were strewn about the bottom part of the cabinets. The utensils were spilled over, nothing was organized. The kitchenette is a 26 year old Woods compact unit from 2000. The freezer has rusty hinges and there are drip marks on the shelving. The staff were awesome when i had an issue, they provided me with a fitted sheet for the mattress. I did notice the mattress protectors are very worn down and the straps were broken for one of the beds. The room looks like it has handy patchwork everywhere, walls are discolored in different spots. There were cigarette burns on the plastic sea shell dish and there's a leftover dispenser frame on the shower wall with calcium build up. Stay 6/10 Room 5/10 Staff 10/10

Staff is super friendly and professional. The place is very rundown and doesn’t look like it had some renovations in a really long time. Doesn’t look nearly as nice as the pictures.

the pool and grounds were great

The room was basic but tidy. The grounds and gardens of the property is what makes this place shine. The pool is gorgeous and so relaxing and warm..Wonderful for children and families. The flowers and lilacs were in bloom and so fragrant. The staff were great and the restaurant on site was just amazing. We enjoyed dinner and brunch at Fork seasons and it was delicious. This is such a little gem of a place

Well maintained, excellent staff, excellent amenities!

Room was not cleaned. Staff member handed me sheets to change. Old section of motel as well. Next day a helpful mgr. Said it wasn't handled well... Took a percentage off... That was nice. Too bad she wasn't there when we checked in.
