Staff were lovely. Room was small with very little wardrobe space but spotlessly clean. Village is very beautiful and quiet. Parking was difficult.

A lovely clean room. Excellent polite staff. Very good food. No parking, but managed to park on the road each day. Ideal base for the east coast.

Clean room. Very quiet location at night so no noise. Lovely breakfasts and evening meals. Parking near hotel at weekend can be difficult but eventually a space will free up. Would recommend. Lovely part of the country to visit.

Lovely size room. Bed comfy. Right in the centre. We ate in the restaurant, and it was ok. Room was clean, but the taps could have been cleaned a bit better. Would recommend.

Nice room, kind staff, didn’t sleep well due to room was warm, as expected in July. Fan is provided, but ours was broken and staff could not provide a replacement. Would recommend you bring your own fan or owners have an extra on standby. Would stay again, just would bring my own fan.

Excellent from booking until checkout

Super clean. Cozy bed. Restaurant under the hotel. Right on the main street walkable to everything, the beach and other restaurants. I was glad there was a fan as I had a room on the front of the hotel and the evening sun was streaming in. Without the fan I wouldn't have slept at all in the heat. I was overcharged for dinner. The menu said salmon was 17 pounds but they charged me 21. They also added a 10% tip. I just found it to be predatory to tourists when that is their business.

The hotel doesn't look that inviting on arrival as outside the steps are a bit broken and untidy. Inside is really nice though. Nice eating area around bar and separate dining room just off it. Our room was quite small and tired looking in parts. The bed was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Vicky was especially kind. If I had one thing putting me off was the hotel welcomed dogs but I felt there was a smell in the eating area which might not to be everyone's choice. . That aside I would recommend hotel to people.

Beautiful area, the hotel was cold and no way to turn on the radiatorsTV didn’t work in our room, Tern,,but the only stayed overnight. The restaurant staff were very stressed as it was very busy and impatient customers were rude to them. Sad to witness

nice place to stay , i was staying ofr work and sadly breakfast wasnt offered before 8.30 am, which meant i missed breakfast, parking can also be challenging

We stayed here around 8 years ago and when we decided to visit Alnmouth again we had no hesitation in booking here again. The hotel is modern, well decorated and the rooms very comfortable. The price was very reasonable and the fact that dogs stay free was a great bonus. Best of all were the staff, friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay here again. Parking may be an issue but we managed to find on a free on street space each day.
