The room was spacious and comfortable; the air con / heating took some time to figure out but we managed it in the end. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. The hotel is very well situated for Poole Quay and Old Town, and we would certainly stay again.

Still the best place to stay in Poole. Shower was awesome, enough room to get a rugby union team in!!! Great location near the restaurants on the Quay and a ten minute walk from the train station. Deluxe Room was very spacious and had an iron bath in the corner!! However, mattress was too soft and the pillows too 'fluffy'. Just a personal note, but we needed hard mattresses and 'dull' pillows. Breakfast is over-priced (plenty of coffee shops/delicatessens in Poole), but if you need to eat one, buy the Cooked and go all in!! Large bar area and restaurant. Fabulous building all round, full of history - you can learn about one of the previous owners in nearby Poole Museum.

Staff friendly and helpful, location good for the many bars and restaurants on Poole Quayside. Room was adequate, not enough sockets in convenient places for kettle etc. Heating took a bit of fathoming out (had to contact reception). Shower not good.

Heating worked really well, had to turn it down. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very good. Limited parking at hotel. No plug socket for hairdryer near the mirror. Would stay again for sure.

We stayed at Hotel Du Vin in Poole as a treat for my birthday and were hoping for a special experience. The location is great and it was a nice touch that they left two small truffles chocolates in the room for my birthday. However, there were a few disappointing things. The bath still had cleaning product left on it when we arrived, so we had to wait for this to be sorted. We also didn’t sleep well as the pillows went flat quickly and the bed was very firm. The room menu mentioned fresh milk in the fridge, but this apparently stopped after Covid and instead there were small long-life milk pots, which felt a bit underwhelming. Breakfast was also disappointing – the poached eggs were very slimy and no one checked on us during the meal. This isn't the service I'd expect for £24 for breakfast each. When checking out I mentioned everything had only been “fine”, but this didn’t seem to be picked up on by the receptionist. Overall, a lovely location but not quite the experience we expected for a birthday treat.

The room was really clean and had a courtyard for our dog which was great. Great comfortable bed and all staff very helpful. 1 or 2 negatives ... £15.00 per night car park is crazy . . Very expensive breakfast we didn't have but looked delicious. Only 6 car park spaces Britannia car park near by. Lovely break beautiful Hotel ... very hard to find !
