The smaller, chalet style fit well into the Chamonix mountain 'feel'. The corner room had the best view which my husband really appreciated as we were celebrating his birthday! The staff was absolutely wonderful in all ways.

Great hotel

Hotel Lyret is right on the river, with balconies that have a river and Mountain View. It is a short walk from the bus stop and close to all of the dining and shopping in Chamonix. The receptionists are friendly, helpful, and speak several languages. The receptionist made reservations for us at multiple restaurants throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was fairly priced and had lots of delicious food options. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size with great water temperature and pressure. The reception also had great hiking recommendations for us and buying the tickets for to the train to the glacier was easy and very convenient. We will be back to Hotel Lyret in the future!

Great location, but the room was very small and the door needed to be pulled shut for the lock to engage.

We had an amazing stay at Lyret, perfect view of the river and mountain from our balcony. Service provided was excellent. Only negative would be the €20 for early check-in.

Amazing stay the hotel was just beautiful and the balcony overlooked the stream below and had fantastic views. Great breakfast and facilities and the staff even helped me charge my phone.

Great location, sauna and friendly staff! The shower was the only thing we didn’t like not very user friendly and no plug for the bath.

Great location with very helpful service. Ski room is very practical and they recommend great services such as ski rentals and airport pickups with third parties. I would advise against staying on the side with the street. It is very loud even with the windows closed. Advise to stay here if you can overlook the river.

Kind, attentive staff, nice room, but it was really noisy due to the bar next door. Ask for a room on the RIVER, not the street for a quieter stay.

This is a lovely house with lovely, wooden decor, which I very much enjoyed. The area and location are fantastic. Unfortunately, the experience on the property was a bit disappointing. The first night was in a room that was super loud, I got poor sleep, etc. the curtain was also unclipped at the top, so it felt like there wasn’t a lot of attention to detail and definitely no soundproofing. The staff were super helpful and moved me to another room, although there was some miscommunication there too. The new room was lovely and quiet, but the bathroom had mould o. The ceilings and a non draining sink, so a bit of a let down there too. Generally, the reception team were super helpful when asked questions, but they weren’t very proactive to provide info. As an example, they didn’t tell us about booking the sauna, etc but we overheard them saying this to another tourist. They also only gave us the travel card when we specifically asked; it turns out this travel card is kinda important. Overall, this hotel can do much better for the price point.. I’d stay here again but for a lower price

Great stay. Rooms are on the small side but clean and quiet. Easy walk into town and to the bus stop. Would stay again!

Bathroom is a bit small like a cruise cabin, but the location, staff, and services were perfect! Super fun and helpful. Great location for winter sport activities.

Excellent experience - Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was modern, spacious and clean, with cabinets to store shoes, jackets, and get bags off the floor. Situated in the downtown area, it’s a convenient walk to restaurants, shops, and a grocery. Parking and the train station are both an easy five minute walk from the hotel.

Short 1 night business trip - nice hotel, well located and very friendly staff.
