Beautiful Italian villa with history conveniently located near the city walls of Lucca but in the countryside . Lovely bedroom tastefully decorated and a very nice breakfast Beautiful pool well maintained

Lovely hotel and location. Our third time staying there. Unfortunately there was an issue with noisy neighbours but the hotel staff were helpful at resolving and moved us to a different room.

Lovely hotel, easy to get the bus into Lucca - we did this a few days in a row as it is a bit limited for other shops or restaurants. Hotel pool was lovely and very quiet space, towels were provided. Restaurant was nice simple food. Breakfast was ok.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa with grand common area spaces, beautiful grounds and a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful breakfast and sat outside in the beautiful garden. There was free parking and it was a short drive to both Pisa and Lucca. The Villa has a long history so some areas show some wear but it gives it character and everything was clean. We loved the quiet location and beautiful surroundings. I would come again!

I can not tell you how amazing this hotel is. 12th century villa. Stunning. Grounds are gorgeous. Location is perfect. Close to both Lucca and Pisa and Florence. Free breakfest was great. Rooms comfortable. Bathroom newly renovated. 10-10

Lovely hotel in peaceful surroundings with fantastic service

We spent 3 lovely days in Villa La Principessa. Location and old style hotel atmosphere was perfect! Very roomy hotel rooms, quiet sleeping on super matresses. Only bathroom was very tired and it calls for renovation.

Very beautiful and clean property. Breakfast was amazing. Was surprised it was a good ways from the walled city but the property was beautiful.

Elegant and peaceful hotel a few kms outside of Lucca in tastefully renovated building with beautiful grounds. Courteous friendly staff, excellent breakfasts and large outdoor swimming pool.

Returned here after staying last year. Different room this year. Could hear the adjoining rooms quite clearly. Need some sound proofing. Pool area also needs updating as the wooden panel flooring has seen better days. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

Few amenities (no bathrobes, little soap, poor wifi). Could be cleaner BUT great bathroom fixtures, excellent location, quiet, peaceful surroundings. Modest price
