A delightful boutique hotel in a great location. The staff were welcoming and so helpful in providing recommendations and local advice. The room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Would stay here again.

Clean older building, central. Comfortable beds. Nice bath.Smallish rooms however with no air-conditioning. Excellent helpful friendly staff.

Room didn't have airconditioning and we had to use a fan to sleep. Lots of street noise. Breakfast was good. Nice and helpful staff

Driving to the hotel was difficult because of the traffics and too many confusing roundabout. The parking garage was complicated when the desk did not tell us to get to the right garage entrance. The only nice thing about the hotel was that the room was clean.

We stayed her for two nights. Reception was so amazing and helpful with recommendations and answers to all our questions. The room was nice and clean. It was small, but that is expected in France. It was in walking distance to everything. The breakfast was very nice also.

The hotel was in a great spot to explore downtown Nantes. The young lady at the desk was extremely helpful and friendly. And spoke very good English since my French is limited and poor. The only downside was due to it being in the city, parking can be stressful. We weren’t sure if we could temporarily park on the street to unload, but then we lucked out with a parking spot opening up on the street.

We checked in Hotel Voltaire Opera Nantes Centre on 5 May and checked out on 7 May for our onward travel to Paris. We were in room number 114 on the first floor. On 6 May, we left the hotel at 8:30 am and came back to the room at 10:30 pm (after dinner). As soon as we returned to the room, I realized that my laptop which I kept in the closet was missing. We checked all our bags thoroughly and then promptly reported the theft to the front desk. The two boys on the night duty immediately called the owner, who confirmed that he will check with the housekeeping staff and then will report the matter to the police. At around midnight, the two boys from the front desk came to our room with a devise to retrieve the access card information from the door lock. They also informed me that there is a CCTV only on the ground floor and the access to the CCTV footage is only with the owner. Next morning, I met the wife of the owner and enquired about how can they help in finding my laptop. I also asked for the room access and the CCTV information. She informed me that other than the housekeeping staff, her husband accessed the room and he gave access to the repairs contractors in our absence. I was absolutely shocked to learn that the folks accessed our room without our permission. The owners did not share the CCTV footage with us. She said that she is reviewing the CCTV footage herself and will let us know if she finds anything. They also did not report the matter to the police. They gave
