This is a very good and quiet hotel in a pedestrian street and very convenient for visiting all the historic sites and shops in the city centre. Highly recommended - we stayed there twice on our way to and from Dijon.

Hôtel idéalement placé près de la Place Bellecour, à 15 min à pied du Vieux Lyon. Rue piétonne calme, beaucoup d'activités et restaurants à proximité. Petit déjeuner très abordable et varié (viennoiseries, oeufs, charcuteries, fromages, céréales, fruits, yaourts). Lits confortables et chambre familiale très spacieuse pour 4. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Staff was great and the property is close to the old Lyon and many restaurants as well as shops. The only thing which was a let down was the smelly pillows and pillow cases. The smell was quite terrible. I did ask for clean (new) pillow cases but they also smelled. I am unsure what is used to wash the bed linen, but PLEASE do something about it. I had to put one of my tops on my pillow to sleep :(

Great location walkable to restaurants and shops

This was a great stay in Toulon, right on the Rue Victor Hugo, extraordinarily walkable and convenient to sightsee. We traveled as a family, and loved how close we were to playgrounds and spaces where the kids could run around. The hotel itself is an older property, but well-maintained and with all the modern conveniences. The staff were great, and the room was great -- I'd be happy to stay here again if I had the chance!

The good: property is in a great location in the centre of town and just a few minutes from the train station. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The bad: The hotel is in poor condition and in need of refurbishment. When we arrived our air conditioner had a massive leak all over the carpet (to their credit, they gave us a new room). We also got stuck in the lift, which was quite frightening. The hotel staff were able to get us out and told us that sometimes the lift malfunctions in bad weather. After the second time the lift didn't work properly we stopped using it, which was annoying because we were on the 5th floor. The rooms were otherwise ok but our toilet also needed a few tries to flush properly. A little bit of investment would really improve the experience as the hotel is in a great location and an otherwise lovely place.

Great stay - room was small but nice and clean.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible! It felt like we were transported back in time. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond. The breakfast, while simple, was delicious and hit the spot. Being right in the heart of the city allowed us to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again and again!

The room was a little bare bones overall. A great location. the toilet was very loud & made strange sounds when flushed. however, it never had any problems. The AirCon worked okay which was a positive since we were there in a heat wave. It was clean & quiet. We did not try the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The staff were all polite & helpful.
