The staff go above and beyond and lovely pool/courtyard.

Super clean and comfortable. Not fancy, but nice. Great and friendly service. Good breakfast. Nice pool area. It is a good 12 to 15 minute walk to town, uphill on the way back, but doable. Nice and quite hillside. Great for relaxing with a drink by the pool after exploring other areas of lake como!

We asked to cancel or change dates of our booking 5 days prior our arrival because of the war against Iran that closed all airports in Israel for 12 days. The hotel didn't care about it and refused to cancel or change the dates and charged the full amount of our reservation.

Great place to stay! My second year visiting this property. The staff is great, the breakfast is delicious, and it is overall a great value!

The staff were wonderful here. The bedrooms are old but we knew that prior to coming and Menaggio is so spectacular we are only in room to sleep! Rooms did have option of Netflix and prime which was great. Breakfast delicious - continental with small amount of cooked food. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and polite, my children and I loved them. We didn’t have a car and walked everywhere but you must have good level of fitness to do this as hotel up very steep hills with many (many) steps. Has car park though if you have a rental. Gorgeous swimming pool and sunbed area. Play park with football goals opposite hotel. Loved it and will return Thank you Sonenga ♥️

Great little hotel with a nice restaurant and pool a short walk from the Menaggio town centre.

It is a very nice 7 min pleasant walk to center square, and only 6 min to ferry boat station. Very quiet so can sleep in and the owner Roger is very nice, he even gave me 2 free glasses of wine just for talking to him. I would stay here again

Nice hotel, the swimming pool area is very nice with a convenient restaurant. Not too far from the heart of the village, 15-20 min wak, but the slope is STIFF...

15-minute walk from Menaggio. Friendly service. Pool was very nice. Clean but a bit outdated decor. Hotel room was cleaned every day.

Staff really accommodating if you arrive earlier than check-in time. 10 min walk from city center. Clean.

This stay was terrible, from the check in to the checkout … The time for the checkin was awful, they only allow it from 3pm to 7pm which is ridiculous for a hotel. We had issues getting to Menaggio and tried calling the property to tell them we were going to be late … no answers and when we sent a message, we received no answer. When we finally got there the staff were not telling us anything, we had to ask the question. In the room there was a tv but had no signal … why even put it at this point. The AC in the room was not working and nobody was able to do anything about it. The restaurant at the property was slow and the food was not good, they messed up our order multiple times when there was barely any customers. They also charged us for something we didn’t order. The staff was not helpful and didn’t understand anything, only one person was able to speak English. Finally for the checkout the reception was not even open when we left the premises. Such a bad experience with this hotel and will never book there again.

The hotel stay was just what we needed. A quick walk to the downtown area (via sidewalks and stairs). But watch our for the relatively steep walk back. We had plenty of room, our car parked close, and a great view from our balcony. They have a great pool area as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had to unexpectedly pay €9.50 for parking even though well away from town center. This was first thing asked for on arrival. location a little out from town on a hill. hotel a little dated. Breakfast was acceptable

The property is nice and clean. The pool was great. The staff was very friendly. There is definitely not air conditioning. The room was hot. I thought our room included the “free breakfast” listed on the hotel website. AFTER my family of 5 ate the breakfast we were informed that our booking did not include breakfast. It’s €15 per person. Definitely not worth the money. They should have informed us of the charge before we ate.

I stayed here with my best friend for 2 nights. It is such a cute property. Sam and his family took great care of us. Sam speaks great English and is full of recommendations for the area. The hospitality blew us away! Thank you Sam for everything! Ally
