This hotel has really good points but also some issues that need some thought by the management.
It was strange to be “upgraded” to a room which was a double when we had booked a family room.
Breakfast is based on the assumption that you’re a holidaymaker not someone attending for work. It took over 20 minutes to get a bowl of cornflakes.
Finally, and possibly the most concerning, was the staff and their approach in some cases. I waited for a taxi in the foyer for about 5 minutes in the morning and the swearing and language I heard whilst there was something that should happen in an area where customers can overhear - it shouldn’t really happen at all.
It was a disappointment as otherwise the room was really nice.
