The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming - the waitress from the bar not so much! We didn't eat in the restaurant as it was quite expensive. Suite was lovely but quite spartan. We found the beds quite uncomfortable and, although there were 5 of us, there were only two mugs?? Shower was good but bathroom was tiny. Use of the pool and hot tub was great and the children really enjoyed it. Late check out time was a bonus too. Baldersheim appeared to be a lovely town - very clean and pretty.

I chose this hotel after reading quite a few positive reviews, and was honestly a little disappointed by our stay. The good: clean bathrooms and linens. Lovely indoor pool area. Proximity to the highway makes it a great stopping point on a long drive. The bad: the hotel reception and corridors smelled like cigarette smoke, the pillows were old, lumpy and smelled like other people's unwashed sweaty heads This made it impossible to sleep as every time I moved, I got a whiff of it. The night receptionist that was there when we arrived was very nice, but since there is only one desk, there always seems to be a queue.

They have some koi in front of hotel and they don’t take good care of water/fish. It’s the first and the last impression. Sad.

Perfect place as a stopover when travelling through Europe

Overall the hotel was easy to find, set in a quaint little town, beautifully presented from the outside. Our room was great, clean and tidy and worked for us as a family. The swimming pool and spa was excellent and easy to access. Would should have pre booked dinner before arrival, the restaurant in the hotel was lovely, food excellent but we couldn’t get a table until really late in the evening, which was not ideal with two children. We’d been driving all day so did not want venture back out and no other immediate choices for food. When we did get dinner we thoroughly enjoy it however, once we got seated. There was a bar facility out the hotel building, next door, we bought one drink at 6pm and with all of the outside seating taken with customers, they closed up and that was it, no more bar….this left us with a long wait between then and dinner. Plenty of parking and very helpful front desk staff. We had a good stay.

Everything was good apart from a soft mattress and pillows

Good ski stop. Lovely whirlpool, sauna, steam and pool. Friendly staff and good food for evening meal and good range of breakfast items. Scramble seemed a little processed but that’s all I’d ‘knock’. Parking availability was slightly tight, arriving mid evening.

The property is really nice with a nice and quiet atmosphere. The staff is super attentive and made our stay very enjoyable. The only negative was the stairs on the suite which are not easy when you need to carry luggage. Otherwise, a 10 out of 10 and a number 1 choice is we are in the area again.

Amazing place. The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly. Spacious room and very comfy beds. The breakfasts buffet is a big plus, with freshly baked baguettes and madeleines!

Staff very friendly and helpful, asked for a quiet room in the annex and got exactly that , parking both on road outside the hotel , and in the two car park attached to the hotel and annex felt safe . Only a slight inconvenience walking across the road from the annex to the hotel for restaurant and pool but I knew before I booked the annex and it was my choice so not a problem it was easy enough. Slight niggle that internet was not very strong at times but overall a truly enjoyable relaxing stay and I will definitely be back

Nice halfway point for trips to France from DK. Very friendly staff, comfortable beds. Breakfast a bit different due to corona, but well organised.

On est arrivé et on a mit dans une chambre juste à côté de la réception. Donc déjà on entendait absolument tout ce qu’il se passait à l’entrée comme si on était 10 dans la chambre. INSUPPORTABLE ! On a demandé à changer de chambre car tous les matins on était réveillé par les nouveaux arrivants on aurait dit une colonie de vacances. Ensuite, Le service de nettoyage ne change pas les draps, il fait juste notre lit. Inutile. Le dernier soir on a essayé de prolonger le séjour car j’avais des rdv dans la journée et on doit quitter l’hôtel à midi. Apparemment l’hôtel était complet ( bizarrement on voyait personne mais bon ). La femme m’a rigolé d’un air hautain au téléphone en me faisant comprendre que je devais quitté l’hôtel c’est tout et c’est comme ça. Forcément elle s’est attaqué à la mauvaise personne, j’ai donc déconseillé cette hôtel à ma communauté ( 1/2 milion de personnes ). Plus JAMAIS ! Fuyez cette hôtel c’est un conseil, ils ne respectent pas leur clients.

Comfortable hotel, easy access to motorway network whilst being in a village like setting Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is managing extremely well with covid. Evening meal ( hot) and breakfast (Extensive and delicious) was available as very efficient room service which the staff have gone abive and beyond to provide The room was extremely comfortable and I had a really good nights sleep The only slight problem was a slightly weak WiFi at peak times ( The hotel was quite full) not really a problem More a niggle. I will definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone Again, the staff are a credit to the Hotel

A very convenient stop over near Mulhouse. Just a few minutes from the main road north from Basel to Strasbourg. Small but inviting swimming pool. Also near a fuel station (3 mins) Very good restaurant.

Given an inferior room to the one booked then charged local taxes when we pre paid these with Expedia
