When we arrived, we were wow'd by the property. However, our room was in a back annex building that was much less impressive. We knew the second bed was a couch bed but it was very uncomfortable and the sheets/comforter did not fit it properly. Also, there were no outlets on that side of the room so the two of us that slept there could not charge our phones overnight. The shower head was broken and leaked badly. And, the shower itself looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time.

Originally purchased 3 rooms, at check in the hotel claimed we only had 2 rooms purchased. Charged us for a 4th room, then 2 days later they discovered they did indeed have the 3rd room reserved. They claimed to refund the 4th room charge, as of yet, the refund has not happened. Rooms were very small and not very well kept up. Maid service was spotty at best. Would not stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfect for all the amenities as it’s very central. Only negatives were lack of any kind of English TV channel and it would have been nice to have had some English Breakfast Tea teabags and some milk, not everyone drinks herbal tea and black coffee!!!

Great location, breakfast and staff.

Well-located just 6 minutes from the main station and 15 to the cathedral. Hotel had everything you need for a weekend trip. Room was comfortable and clean. Rooms were not entirely soundproofed however this was not a big issue. Free mulled wine/hot chocolate offered was a nice touch. Overally a nice stay!

Front staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was good enough. The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable and the room was incredibly hot - even with our heat turned off. The housekeeping was a bit lacking. However,we’re rating it a 4 star because the location and front staff were great

We had a wonderful stay at the Clap Clap hotel, the staff was extremely helpful, going above and beyond our expectations. The hotel is well located, close to all tourist attractions and public transport.

Great location between gare and historic areas of Strasbourg, friendly staff, fun design theme to hotel, nice breakfast, check-out hours are helpful. Chromecast in room is a nice bonus.

The location is ideal for exploring and easy access to the central train station. First stay had a room facing the street which was noisy with the tram station. Our second stay was in the back overlooking the courtyard which was more quiet. Rooms were clean but could use a decor update and freshen up the scuffed paint. Very good value for the location.

good location just outside the central very busy area so perfect for us. also just 6 or 7 mins walk to the station for daytrips etc. friendly staff. clean, bright, good breakfasts,good coffee available in reception / sitting area.

Good central hotel, friendly stuff, modern clean hotel. Spacious room

The first room assigned was really old & dingy and the a/c did not work on a very hot day/night. Was told there was no other room available so the night was very uncomfortable. The next day they moved us to another room which was better but then on the 2nd night the a/c stopped working so another miserable night.
