Extremely friendly, professional and helpful staff. Great property to stay at when visiting Siena. Just enough proxy to the actions without the problems of being too close. I’d recommend easily to anyone.

Had a nice stay. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Apartment was clean. Property is beautiful, I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. My only suggestion for people looking to book would be that you might want to rent a car. It is technically walking distance to centre of town in Siena but it’s a bit of an awkward walk uphill.

Beautiful hotel and awesome location. Hotel is located at the edge of Siena central city. An easy walk to the city with the added benefit of being in a quiet location. We loved Siena! The grounds were beautiful as was the hotel and room. The room was a spacious apartment with a large bedroom full of windows overlooking the beautiful grounds. Also,a comfortable king bed with an attached living room and kitchen. We cooked in our room one night with the supplies from the large grocery store a short walk from the hotel. Dishes, utensils and cooking pans supplied in the room. The train and bus terminal were a short walk from the hotel for easy connections to other areas. We loved this hotel so much we extended our stay an extra day.

Room quality was super good, cozy and clean. Staffs were very kind and polite. Everything was beyond my expectation.

This hotel is on a slop behind central bus and railway station and close to shopping. It could be a bit tricky to get into the city center, but once it is figured out, it is pretty easy. It combines both the benefits of convenience and quietness for me. It may be a bit issue for people who have a lot of luggages or elderly travelers as it requires a bit uphill walking. The hotel service is excellent, the staff was really friendly and professional. They also provided helpful information of cooking classes I was looking for; the breakfast was freshly prepared, cappuccino was so yummy! The bed and sheets are high quality and clean! Overall, the service and ambience is super, I am beyond satisfied.

Its nicest place i have stayed, very reasonable price, great breakfast, garden and grounds around with birds chirping, great service, exceptionally clean, tasteful, convinient location near Siena old town reached by walking, yet secluded and quiet, great room and amenities

Property located on top of a hill. It has a nice view. A bit far from the historical center of the town.

Wonderful Hotel with wonderful staff. A little further out of the City but we did walk in each evening using the escalator situated opposite the train station. Booking breakfast using their app needs to be simplified.

Great location and host. Beautiful pool and saw two dear near the pool. Well appointed rooms.

Roomy and quiet.

With a lovely view of the northern side of Siena, Borgo Grondaie is convenient, yet hidden away at the same time. A series of small Tuscan buildings around a central patio makes the property very convenient to its amenities. The outdoor terrace for breakfast is there as is the reception and the main bar. The saltwater pool is a few steps away and nicely maintained. There's a laundry for guests as well. My room was a good size and in immaculate condition. First class. The staff were lovely and I'll return next time I am in Siena.

Very pleasant stay

Lovely hotel with excellent super friendly helpful staff. Only a Short 15 minute walk to Siena station or escalator that leads to top of Siena. Close to Coop supermarket. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Breakfast is available on site. Lovely grounds with pool. Self laundry facilities with hanging areas . Parking on site.

We’ve stayed at Borgo Grondaie 3 times and wouldn’t go anywhere else in Siena. Great location by the station, with walking distance to conveniences and the city centre. Staff are incredibly hospitable and friendly making the stay comfortable and special. The hotel has everything you need for a great stay including a beautiful pool and laundry facilities. Grazie for another great stay!

Amazing service. Great staff. Loved our stay. It’s a 20 minute walk to the town. You have to walk to the train station and then take eight (???) escalators to the town.

Beautiful property, just what you would hope to stay at while in Tuscany.

Nice boutique hotel, good location, beautifully landscaped and quiet. Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. We didn’t take advantage of the pool or an afternoon wine, but would think they would be good as well.

We were looking for a quiet place to sleep within reasonable walking distance of Siena where we could prepare our own meals for a few days in between other adventures. The apartment was perfect, the staff were helpful and we were an easy stroll to a Coop where we could get our own food. The walk to town is about 15 minutes but pleasant and easy when you use the escalator from the train station. I wish we had been there in warmer weather when we might have used the pool as it looks lovely. If we are ever back in the area we would certainly stay here again.

Good for longer stays. Acess convenient by car/taxi otherwise 10m sloped walk to to/from bus/train stations.
