The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room had great charm but it was a bit noisy and we could not get the thermostat to work properly. The location was great and all in all, a nice stay.

My experience was a mixed bag. I liked the area and the cute ambiance of the hotel while the shower’s water pressure was very low and I could barely wash myself. Also WiFi wasn’t working. The breakfast was average and was served in a small room without windows. The staffs were friendly though.

This is a nice wee hotel conveniently situated about half-way between the promenade and the train station. Nice touches like the fresh water they put in your fridge; even the fact that there was a fridge in the room, which I don’t think a lot of three-star hotels have. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for a three-star hotel; couldn’t have asked for more. It was never too crowded no matter what time I went for breakfast. I don’t know how busy the hotel was but the corridors were always quiet. The rooms were cleaned in the mornings. The staff were friendly (a special mention to Nisar on reception). The only negative was that there was no headboard on the bed, which meant my back got sore when watching TV or reading in bed. I would return to this hotel.

Very pleasant hotel, light and airy, with spacious room. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is situated an enjoyable 15 minute walk from the old town and the front. Some street noise on Saturday night, but otherwise quiet.

Nice clean room, modern bathroom. Couldn’t figure out how to adjust thermostat or had an error message but I could Have gone down to front desk. Only problem was room was cleaned and towels taken away but not replaced. When I went to front desk the person in charge was trying to charge me for towel cleaning. It took me a few attempts to explain that the towels were removed but not replaced so we had no towels. I assume part of the problem was the language barrier, I was unable to make myself clear.

Wonderful hotel walkable to all the sites in Nice while being outside of the busiest areas. Excellent breakfast and kind, helpful staff.

Great hotel

La Villa Victor Hugo came to our rescue when our flight home was cancelled. Comfortable, friendly, well-located and wallet-friendly. Thank you so much. The only reason 4 not 5 stars is that though there was an ironing board in the room there was no iron.

Check in was terrible. Staff was very unfriendly my whole stay! Room was very clean. The housekeeper was the only person who spoke to me.

The hotel met all my requirements and is well positioned for easy access to the city centre. It was quiet and the rooms were clean. We were particularly impressed with the quality and range of food for breakfast, much better than many continental hotels which I have stayed in over the last few years.

We spent three nights in Nice and this hotel was very pleasant and luxurious in every way. We couldn't have imagined anything better.

This was a great hotel for the cost, admittedly room was not particularly large but great for the money we paid. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Spotlessly clean. Like a lot of hotels, no matter the star rating, lighting was not great and lack of sockets near mirror. A pet hate of mine is having the hairdryer in the bathroom. A great location, near public transport, good shops and restaurants as well as the Promenade des Anglais. We would definitely stay again.

I was pleased with my interactions with all the staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast room and cleaning personnel. The hotel's location is ideal for walking, close to transportation, close to shopping. The property is clean and well maintained.

We loved our stay! The hotel is perfectly located near the beach, old town, shopping, dining, and transportation. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel!
