Made to feel so welcome with our puppy, lovely people and cannot fault the hotel or staff at all

It was a little hard to find but the welcome was excellent, the location was in beautiful country, peaceful and unspoilt yet only 2km off the road to Auch. The owner is a wonderful cook so dinner and breakfast were superb with a nice wine menu. The room and bathroom were well decorated, everything to like.

Did not appreciate until arriving at the property that we were staying in one hotel and sleeping in another. Admittedly same compsny and only 150yds along the village main street.

The hotel is located in two buildings about 100 yards apart, so we had our evening meal in one building and slept and had breakfast in the other. The location was quiet and situated between Puy Du Fou (55 miles) and Futuroscope (15 miles), which is why we chose it. The staff were (generally) excellent and very helpful in relation a gluten free diet. On the first night the waiter ensured that one of our guests had the gluten free diet required, on the second night, the waiter brought items containing gluten of three occasions despite knowing the guests restriction. He just didn't give it a thought. We did ask for a disabled accessible room, but were given one in the separate building on the first floor and with no lift. This did spoil what would have been a great experience. The door to the bathroom of our room (one of three booked) could not be opened fully because the beds were too close because the room was so small. Beds very comfortable and room clean and well appointed.

Good overnight stop over

Stayed for a night as a stopover whilst travelling through France. The hotel was easy to find and the staff very friendly. They humoured me with my very limited French and spoke very slowly and clearly. We stayed in the "Clovis" hotel, which is a few metres from the main part "Le Cheval Blanc", which I hadn't originally realised. It was not an issue in the slightest, though, that the two parts weren't linked. Because we were travelling with our two dogs, we requested a ground floor room and this was very close to the road, but we didn't find this a problem at all, since the village is very quiet (certainly while we were there). As we checked in, we were asked if we wished to have our evening meal at the hotel and we decided we would, so they made us a reservation. The food was very nice indeed, and the staff very helpful. Behind the hotel is a large park with lakes and plenty of green space; great for dogs and humans alike. If we were passing through the area, we would definitely stop again and would heartily recommend it to other travellers.

Delighted with our stay, the hotel and staff were great. We were given a room in the Clovis annexe and although clean was very dated. The evening meal by the river was outstanding and very good value. We will book again!

Convenient for families, great location. Room decor was a bit dated. Although our search indicated that breakfast was included it turned out that it wasn't!

Nice place, beer, location, lock up bikes in beer cellar or in gated access, Would use again, recommended!

When we arrived I was quite impressed with what I saw, Hotel/Restaurant but at reception we were sent to another part of the hotel, a building some 50yards away, no evening reception, just a key to get in.

Well run and good value. On a very attractive square. A little strange to have the modest breakfast (piped music!) served only at the sister Clovis hotel across the square.

The restaurant for the hotel outshines the accommodation. The rooms are very small but clean. They could all be upgraded. We have stayed 3 times this summer but really only stay because of the food!! Restaurant - especially if the terrance is open is lovely but dont' be put off if its not, the food is a joy!

We stay at this hotel because the restaurant is excellent with outstanding menu's. 18, 25, 33 or 41 Euros. All very good.

Hôtel propre bien que vintage mais c’est ce qui fait son charme aussi ! Le personnel n’est pas « agréable » il est adorable, attentionné, à l’écoute des besoins et des envies et toujours bienveillant. Je reviendrais avec plaisir dans cet établissement.

Nous avons surtout apprécié le restaurant

Au cœur de la ville, silencieux , bar et du choix au restaurant, par contre canal plus ne marchait pas

Pænt, men lidt slidt hotel. Restauranten var lidt kedelig, men maden var fortrinlig.

On a été très bien reçu, hôtel propre pour notre séjour de 2 jours impeccable. Bon restaurant. On le conseil.

Parties communes et chambres vieillissantes. Literie de mauvaise qualité. Nous avions un lit double avec un matelas mou et creusé au centre. Les oreillers sont tout plats. Lors de notre arrivée au petit déjeuner, toutes les tables étaient a débarrasser. ( plus de 80 places). 1 seule personne au service. Plus de nourriture sur le buffet. Nous avons du réclamer une tasse, des verres, des petites cuillères, … Nous avons profité d’un Dîner la veille dans leur brasserie : service avec professionnalisme et gentillesse, aliment de qualité. Choisissez ce lieu que pour le restaurant

Une soirée étape sur la route des vacances au calme dans un cadre verdoyant accompagnée d'un repas abordable et tres bon. Personnel qui prend le temps avec chaque client malgré un restaurant bondé et sans allonger la duree du service. Chambre propre et au calme.
