It is supposed to be a 4-Star hotel. You are greeted with a sofa in reception that belongs in a rubbish dump. Our Room (41) was up top and so our windows were small with views of rooftops and the lovely storks nesting. Yes it meant it was quiet but we missed a street view and the passing Semana Santa processions which we came for. Our room was like a studio flat with mis-matched furniture and TV awkwardly positioned - you had to be careful not to cut yourself on the window frame if you opened a window and wanted to move pass a glass top table. Not 4-star design. Also much water was wasted as it took several minutes for the shower hot water to start. Not eco friendly. The staff however were lovely. Shame about the property itself. This should not advertise itself as 4-star.

Ni Las instalaciones ni las habitaciones corresponden con un hotel de 4 estrellas, en mi opinión no llega a ser de 3…. Me ha parecido muy caro. Está bien ubicado para hacer turismo de a pie, pero el acceso en coche es muy difícil, no es fácil aparcar.

Great location in Salamanca, this hotel is right around the corner from everything you’d want to do there. Staff is friendly, place is clean, breakfast is good. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in the very center of the old city. This is close to all landmarks! However makes it difficult to arrive with suitcases ( and we had a lot) Hotel is good and rooms spacious

Perfect location right in the heart of everything

The staff at Hotel Rua are the kindest most accommodating people I’ve had the privilege to meet. They want to please their customers and they are willing to help with anything. They have gone above and beyond.

My hotel room was very disappointing. It was misrepresented. Nothing like the pictures on the website. And an old air conditioning unit located in a small area away from the actual bedroom so relatively ineffective in the bedroom. No TV in the bedroom area, stains that had not been cleaned in the bathroom tub. Bright white hospital lighting throughout only natural light came through some windows that were about 5 feet off the floor that looked on to a roof full of pigeon poop and some trash. The ceiling slanted down to barely 7 feet high at its lowest. So it felt like a cave. The furniture was dated and the whole room was very uninviting. Fortunately, I didn’t spend much time in my room, because for such a beautiful town, the room is fairly depressing. When I asked to be moved, I was told I was given the last room available , and that otherwise they would’ve moved me. No four-star or even three star hotel should rent a room like this.

Great location everything in walking distance. Friendly helpful staff. Quaint, functional if somewhat dated rooms. No English language tv channels. Parking available at cost nearby. Bit noisy at times at night but that comes with the territory.
