We loved our room! We had a deluxe room for three people, and a private staircase that led to a cute balcony with views of the water, the city, and Ortigia! We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony every morning :-) The room had a fridge, coffee and tea (awesome!), and the front desk had bottled water, soft drinks and beer. They offer breakfast but we did not partake. The location is great, in a residential area of Syracuse, and only a 10 min walk to Ortigia. The area around the hotel (right on the water) is being developed so it was pretty noisy due to the construction. The owners of Lakkios were very friendly and helpful. Also, Mary, was incredibly helpful with her communication and arrival instructions. We loved our stay at Lakkios and would definitely return.

Everything was excellent. I didn't give five stars for the area around the property because it is currently undergoing renovations so we had to walk the longer way round to reach Isola di Ortigia (about twenty minutes). It will be perfect once the promenade is completed. There is a little sandy beach five minutes walk from the hotel that nobody seems to know about. We were one of only two other couples there so we pretty much had it to ourselves.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Reception was great, room was comfortable and conveniently furnished. Breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful hotel which is perfectly situated by the Marina. Easy walk into Ortigia and the Syracuse catacombs. Would highly recommend the suite. Massive room with great amenities and very good views from the double aspect windows. Lovely place.

Our stay at Lakkios was wonderful! Our room was clean comfortable and had all the amenities expected. The hostess and staff were kind, friendly, and went above and beyond to assist with questions and request. Location was perfect for our needs. Just a 12 min walk to the bridge crossing into Ortigia and the open market.

B&B is adjacent to a marina with a pretty vista. We were on the main floor, the air conditioner worked well as did the wi-fi. We had a TV. We had a nice breakfast with meat and eggs.

Very pleased with this accomodation. We were made to feel very welcome. Pay the extra for the sea view room. Views are fantastic from every window. Even the small kitchenette has an amazing view. It's a great view across to Ortigia.

We had a lovely spacious suite with great views of the sea and local fishing boats. Staff was very helpful. Although it was a 10 or 15 minute walk from the old town it was a nice balance between both new and old. Lovely room for breakfast.

The staff could not have been more helpful, this is a delightful B&B set right on the harbour front and with in easy walking distance of all the local sights. The breakfast was plentiful and there was always more if you wanted it. The Sicilian preference for cake at breakfast can be fully indulged. Next to the hotel is a very secluded private beach that you can use for a small daily charge - well worth it. Also an easy walk to many local restaurants.

Ver comfortable typical hotel. Great friendly staff. All the tourist attractions and cafes were within walking distance. Good stay.

This was our second visit to the Lakkios Residence and it was great to be back. This is a small B&B that's very conveniently located for Ortygia. Since we were last there they had built a new breakfast room which was very light and pleasant. Good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff.

Terrific.

Lakkios bed and breakfast was simply outstanding. The staff emailed us ahead of our arrival and bumped us into a more spacious room with a sea view, at a lower cost than our original booking. The hotel was clean and well situated. What really set Lakkios apart was the couple that owns it, along with their staff. They were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond expectations on a number of occasions. The airline I flew on had lost my suitcase, and the owners took a lot of time helping me to call the airport and airline and they also reached out to a friend of theirs who worked at the airport. They were checking on my bag for me even when I wasn't around. They also helped us to call a nearby restaurant to make dinner reservations, and we're just generally very kind and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic experience. Wonderful, large room, with windows on 3 sides and a balcony with chairs. The couple who greeted us were very warm and helpful--even brought us a half-bottle of wine (which they didn't charge extra for) because they'd been worried we'd had trouble getting there. It's right on the port, with a few restaurants and bars within 100 yards/meters. The old part of Siracusa is easily within walking distance. I only wish I'd spent a few more nights there, to use the kitchen and enjoy the room and area.

Good location as it's a 10 min walk to the Island which is the old quarter. It's quieter and easy to park. We only stayed a night but it was good value. They are very friendly and lots of places aroundservibh great food.
