Location is great , rooms ok but staff not so good. We were booked for 4 days then heading to Ravenna to get on a cruise. There was a National transportation strike so the only way we could get to the cruise ship was to leave a day early. Spoke to the staff who couldn’t understand what we were talking about. They didn’t even know about the strike, couldn’t see the manager till the next morning . He kept stating it was a no cancellation booking which it was but because of the circumstances we thought he coul see we weren’t cancelling on a whim. Hotels. Com thought it reasonable too and went in to bat for us , but to no avail. So there goes 250 euros down the drain. Loved Venice but this soured the trip.

This is a wonderful property in a great area. The breakfast was excellent and the two staff who run the breakfast room were so friendly and helpful as was the maid who did a great job. Lots of great restaurants nearby and a great base to explore Venice. Highly recommended.

Amazing location close to everything including sea bus which was very convenient. Breakfast was very nice. Rooms are Ok. Breakfast staff were great. One of the front desk guys was completely under the influence of drugs and or alcohol when we came back one night, it was very strange and a bit shocking. Not sure what to make of that. Otherwise excellent stay.

Our arrival by water taxi was the beginning of the best stay we had in Italy. The front desk man was terrific, welcoming and willing to help in any way. He made us 2 Aperile spritzes to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our room 101 was beautiful. Spacious, immaculate, and beautiful. The breakfasts were amazing. The Americanos and the delicious croissants were the best. The breakfast team couldn’t have been more accommodating. The only problem we had was the checkout man at the desk. He demanded cash for the city tax. All 3 of the other hotels put it on the bill. We didn’t have cash left and were headed to the airport. This kept our water taxi driver delayed. The driver gave us the cash and we had him put it on our bill for the ride. All the man at the desk repeated was ATM and pointed to the machine. Other than his attitude, our stay at Foscari Palace was as good as it gets. Traveler advice: keep a little cash just in case this happens to you.Thank you so much!

The hotel is in a great location. The staff working the breakfast buffet were awesome! Loved the room! It was a decent size for my wife and I. We would definitely stay here again!

Very accommodating. The only thing I would say negative is that to sit out on the porch on the canal they charge another 10 euro.

It was a very pleasant stay. Great breakfast, very good service, nice and clean facility. Convenient location surraunded by cozy restaurants and nice boutiques. Will definitely come back and stay there again. Thank you everyone to make our stay so enjoyable.

Fantastic property in a great location right around corner from Ca D’Or vaparetto stop. Very large room with large bathroom and beautiful decor had fantastic view of the grand canal.

This is a very nice hotel to stay in a very local area. The water ferry stop is one block away. It’s a walk under a minute. The location is the lovely local district of Canareggio and dining options there are endless. There is also a Gondola ride service right next to the hotel.

An excellent hotel. We arrived at 10.00pm. Matteo was amazing. He immediately went and made us a coffee. He was so professional, kind and friendly. The breakfast was incredible. A great choice of food. Again, very professional and friendly staff. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. A*

Decent

Buy water as they don't recommend you drink the tap water and stores close super early in the off season. So if you find yourself thirsty at 9pm you may be out of luck.
