Great location! Very nice staff, Bed was very comfortable, Breakfast Buffet was awesome! This place is a great VALUE! I would have expected rate to be much higher! Definitely a hidden gem!

Awesome staff and place

Not too far from stations and right next to the old town. The room was lovely and traditional, very quiet and safe.

Very convenient and I would gladly stay here again.

Great hotel with an old world style mixed with modern. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel private parking was wonderful. Very short walk to old town Nuremberg. Would stay here again.

The hotel is 5 min walk from the castle, so very convenient location. To start, front desk staff was very friendly and helped me find a lunch restaurant that served by favorite Bavarian lunch: Nuremberg sausage, sauerkraut and Weissbier. I had a single room which was extremely quiet (which I really liked). Everything was clean and in good condition. Finally, they served an excellent and extensive breakfast.

This hotel is great! It is in a residential neighborhood and a little farther from the historical sights. But this was definitely within walking distance to the Christmas market and castle. The comfort, helpfulness of staff, cleanliness and breakfast (extra on top of the room but worth it) were a plus and overall one of my favorites on our Germany trip.

Enjoyed three night stay at Hotel Burgschmiet, within an easy short walking distance of the main Chriskindlmkt in Nuremberg, the staff here are friendly and the breakfast option is worth getting. Parking is available on site but it’s limited so best to reserve it when booking your stay Would stay here again. Five Stars ⭐️

Wonderful location! Friendly staff and love the welcome treats (gluwein and cookies). Comfortable bed and very quiet rooms. The breakfast was worth the added price (17 euro), with local specialties and delicious options. Walkable to the Christmas Market too. Thank you! We will be back!

Great hotel and comfortable. Just outside historic Nuremberg city walls by the castle. Easy walking distance to Christmas Market and Castle. Breakfast not included on our booking. We went to main floor each morning for a cup of coffee for a charge. A little thing, and would still highly recommend.

We were in Nuremberg one night for the Christmas market and the hotel is a short walk from the market. The place was very clean, quiet and staff were very pleasant. The breakfast buffet had a very nice selection of food, and we liked the complimentary cookies and gluhwein at reception. Would consider going back here on next visit.

The rooms were nice and the bathroom was large. The property was very convenient for walking to the walled part of the city as well as catching public transportation.

Right across the street from the castle . Easy walk to downtown. Very friendly staff and clean rooms . There was a parking spot available as well.

Great well run hotel in ideal location to visit the castle and old town. Very nice breakfast. 5 star service and quality in a 3 star hotel.
