Great location in the old town just away from all the tourists but close to walk to everything including the ferry terminal. Comfortable room in annexe near main hotel. A little small with lots of luggage. Quiet.

We had a very pleasant stay at this Hotel. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was good value for money. The only critism we had was the noise from the street, as we didn't realize we were near a night club. No critism with the Hotel at all.

We chose this hotel for an additional day prior to start of a Discover France bicycle trip package. It was to be the first stay on that package and we did not want to have to move again for one night. We never discovered whether we were down graded to a lesser grade of room for our second night's stay (the one through Discover France) to achieve the combined stay in the same room. The assigned room was out in an annex building, and it was filthy. My wife would not walk on the floors without shoes on (anywhere). There was dirt on the floors in and around the furniture and had cobwebs around lamps and drapes. It looked like the room had never seen a cleaning cloth in months. The toilet area was cramped and very poorly lit. Probably just as well, as what you can't see, won't hurt you; right! On the bright side, their famous breakfast (in the main building) was great!

Very handy for exploring the old town as set within the walls. This hotel has two buildings: a 3 star establishment and cheaper version round the corner. I stayed in the latter. It was perfectly adequate for one night - a little small but fine for a solo traveller. It was clean and teh bed coomfy and teh staff were helpful. Unfortuntately I had to pay the full rate for the room - there do not seem to be any single rooms around St Malo which is a pity. This is a market that is rarely catered for. Breakfast cost double than that in other establishments in France so I did not eat there so cannot comment on its quality or value for money.

We had a great stay; everyone was accommodating, the room was clean and spacious. Nightlife was a little noisy but overall, we would gladly do it again.

Friendly staff although they don't speak any English was very hard to ask them for anything, rooms ate clean but very basic not even a kettle and they look a lot bigger than on the photos. Wouldn't stay there again

We booked the hotel well in advance, but were put in the annex, which was not good. the stairs were narrow and steep, very difficult with cases.

We arrived quite late but there was someone at reception to check us in and help with the bags. We were in the annex which is 50 meters from the main building and the room we had was comfortable. The self-service continential breakfast was in the rustic cellar in the main building and was fine - you can even boil an egg if you want to. We have stayed here before - and will probably do so again.

We had booked a twin room in this three-star hotel. When we got to the hotel and were shown the room we were appalled. It was in an annex, walk up to 3rd floor, odd-shaped and so minute that you could open bathroom door only a fraction because a bed prevented it to be opened fully. On top of all that the only window was facing a high wall just 2 feet away. As it was puring with rain, we could not really look for another hotel, so we upgraded to a twin in the main building with elevator, but at double the price of the room we had booked.

Hotel split between two buildings. Rooms Ok and the hotel itself has few facilities. Great location right in the centre of old Saint Malo

Staff on arrival very helpful, there are three parts to this hotel, we were out back top floor a bit a trek but all we needed is some where clean to freshen up and to sleep, it was ideal. Cars parked for you in lock up at extra cost but worth it, walled city very interesting and has all you need very close to the hotel, not five mins from port by car.

Charming hotel in beautiful ancient building, excellent location within the old city. Very near restaurants. Quiet room, small but clean. Staff on reception extremely helpful and pleasant. Safe garage storage for our bikes and were able to have access to our room on arrival in mid-morning.

We stayed in the annexe which was just up the road from the main hotel. We arrived late but did receive a welcome reception. They kindly offered us their garage to park our motorbike free of charge. Room was really basic. Couldn't use the shower as it was secured in one position so my husband had to hold it over my head. Good location within minutes of the main street of restaurants and bars.

I was particularly impressed by the friendly reception. The hotel itself is a bit quaint (it could have been somewhere in Kensington) but everything worked and it was clean. Would consider going there again.

Everything about our stay was delightful. The staff were friendly and very helpful in every respect. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We were directed to nearby parking which was safe and convenient. This was our second stay at the Elizabeth and we will happily return when in St Malo again.
