Streetcar access close by to get around

Hotel is nice and staff was great. Excellent water pressure in the shower! Close to old city and many attractions. The unfortunate part is that there are many pickpockets about and you must be constantly vigilant.

The area where the hotel is situated, is a bit rough and ready, but the people are open and friendly and it wasn't a problem.

I spent 4 nights at Hotel Bilbi. Desk staff were helpful and informative and domestic staff superb. My room was basic but comfortable. Everything worked efficiently - TV, Wi-fi, shower, etc. The hotel is well situated close to Bilbao Old Town.

We booked the hotel as it was a budget choice and I had realistic expectations, the hotel lobby was really nice and modern looking ant the triple room we booked was nice and clean, the 3 members of staff we met were pleasant and also spoke great English, basically I’ve paid a lot more for a lot worse - Hotel Bilbi gets a 10 from me, a short walk down a hill with a great couple of bars on the way down, you’re in the old town within minutes. My only MINOR issue was that walking there from the nearest bus station from the airport involves working through a sketchy area which worried me a little however once there we had no concerns

Cheap and cheerful

Hotel Bilbi is a serviceable option in Bilbao. The desk staff is friendly and has lots of recommendations. They have parking spots in a garage across the street. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and would work in most circumstances. We had a lovely view of Bilbao from our room on the 8th floor, and we were close to the old quarter. It worked for one night. If you are visiting in summer, you should know that the air conditioning doesn't work well: you have to have your key in the wall to operate it, which means the room has been closed up without air all day and, thanks to the weak air stream into the room when turned on, it takes forever to cool it down. When we arrived, it was nearly 40 C outside and the room wasn't much cooler. Even after having the air conditioning on all night, our room was maybe 28 C. But this is only a consideration in a summer heat wave.

Nice basic ensuite room . Quiet end of street but 10 mins walk over bridge to historic shopping area .

This was a great location for a 3 day stop in Bilbao. The staff were amazing. Our check in guy gave us great hints and information on where to go and where to eat. Parking was easy in covered parking across the road for €15 per day. Room on 8th floor was good with a covered balcony. Only issue was there was no fridge and the wi fi was very weak.

Good location and easy to walk to downtown! Some steep but short streets to get to the hotel. Room very clean and bed and pillow very comfy! Quiet and safe neighborhood!! We rented a car and the hotel has spots (15€ a day) in a garage across the street!
