We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and my experience overall was good. Room was quiet and clean. There was a strong mildew odor in the bathroom making us to keep the A/C temp low all the time. The staff was very friendly.

Amazing hotel at a very convenient location! 15-20 min walking distance to the market and right across from Port Vell. Staff were very friendly. The thermostat in our room did not appear to work, and the water from the shower would go onto the floor because the door wouldn’t close properly, but that didn’t interfere with our wonderful stay. Would’ve also liked a water filing station for water bottles or free water bottles especially for the price being paid.

Fantastic location, very close to shopping and dining, yet on a quieter street. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Our rooms were clean and spacious. We will be recommending this hotel to friends.

Great hotel, quiet Location, great staff. Hotel was excellent, we booked well in advance so got a great room rate. Really liked the location 3-4 mins walk from nearest metro (Drassanes) Rambla, and easy walking to the port area and Gothic quarter. Room was peaceful and in excellent condition, very clean and smart. Everyone from front desk to housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use this hotel again in Barcelona.

We arrived very late - we had forewarned the hotel. They sent several e mails - in Portuguese for some reason , prompting us to pre-register . Their site did not work well, I could register myself but not my husband . Same thing happened to the receptionist , he couldn’t do it in one computer, then the other . The whole thing took 40 minutes at 1.30 am!!!

Convenient location next to harbor. Well run hotel that has all the services that one can need. Even parking was available. Enjoyed my stay.

Centrally located

We enjoyed a one night stay prior to a cruise. It is located very close to the terminal (short taxi ride). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awesome.

Clean room, I thought bed was decent as far as comfortability. Thin walls but wasn't a big issue.

The Hotel Catalonia Port was fantastic. Clean, well designed room, great staff and allowed us to quickly access the Gothic Quarter and El Born. Yahaira did a great job keeping our room tidy and the staff greeted us warmly when we left and returned to the hotel.

We spent a long weekend in the junior suite with a large, sunny balcony. The staff were attentive from the moment we walked in until the time we left. It’s just a short walk to the seaside boardwalk, as well as to shops and restaurants. We can absolutely recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway or a longer stay — and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Barcelona.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and went the extra mile all of the time. Room was very nice with a wonderful bathroom. Enjoyed the location with much to see, good shopping and a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Easy short trip to the cruise ship docks.
