We had a nice stay but some aspects could have been better. Riad is in the north of the medina, a fair bit away from the tourist area. About 25 mins walk to main square. The immediate area around the riad is a bit dark & it's hard to pick up a taxi anywhere near (unless it's the one the riad uses). Riad itself is lovely, tho' our room (1), is v near the entrance, too dark, too narrow, shower wets all the bathroom & the sink is too small & high up. Other rooms we passed upstairs looked lovely & light. The roof terrace is also very nice. Breakfast was q nice, but eggs/ yoghurt which we had for free in other places, was an extra here. Host lady & other staff were very nice & helpful though. You could book spa/hammam/trips thru the riad & taxi pick ups.

Riad Vert is WONDERFUL. Nadia is so helpful. From helping with a tour guide to taxis to luggage, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special. It is a beautiful riad, the dinners are excellent and if I’m ever in Marrakech again it is the only place I will stay. They treat you like family and we can’t say enough nice things about it.

We immediatley felt calm and peaceful the moment we stepped into Riad Vert. We were greeted with a warm welcome and some mint tea and biscuits. Nadia went through the map with us and gave us some helpful tips for our stay. The Riad was beautiful and clean. We loved our room and especially enjoyed moments spent relaxing on the roof terrace after a day in the busy Medina.

Excellent customer service. Let down by cold rooms, hard beds, faulty shower.

What an amazing experience! Staff at the Riad went out of their way to make my stay at this lovely Riad warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. A huge thank you to Nadia who ensured that I was safe at all times as a solo traveller even arranging that I was safely accompanied to tour meeting points with a staff member. Would highly recommend this beautiful Riad.

Had an amazing stay at Riad Vert. The staff were lovely, friendly informative and very accommodating. It was lovely to stay in the heart of the old medina and experience ‘real’ and authentic Marrakech. Walked our socks off visiting all the historic sites. Will visit again.

Very enjoyable accommodation. Easy transfer from airport. We found the staff so helpful nothing was too much. Only downside is that is a 20 minute walk to square and it is very easy to get lost.

Nadia was so helpful on this trip. I was overwhelmed upon arriving in Marrakech. The staffer working when we arrived only spoke French, but he put Nadia on the phone and our nerves were calmed. They were incredibly accommodating and the food we ordered each night was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend Riad Vert! About a mile walk from the souks. Nadia and staff will make you feel welcome and safe.

This is a lovely little riad in the north part of the medina. We stayed here once before, and it was equally nice.

Really beautiful Riad , located just outside of the main square , away from the chaos . It truly feels like an oasis in the desert . The decor is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and always smiling . Nadia was always available and gave us some useful tips . I would without a doubt recommend a stay in this Riad .

Pleasing hotel staff, clean facilities and very good tagine chicken. Bad odor from the bathroom of our Cigogne suite. We pay in dirhams and the riad charged 12 dhs to 1 euros whereas the bank charged 11.49 dhs to buy 1 euro. Located north end of the Medina, isolated if walking back at night but we had no problems re safety or touts.

We had one of the better dinners I had in Morroco. Sweet lamb and couscous was delicious and I highly recommend. We were greated w the traditional mint tea. They also included tasty biscotti. The manager was nice to stay late for our arrival and start early for our departure. She was very helpfull getting us familiar with the area. Thank you to the Riad for a wonderfull stay.

Riad vert review It's essential that you read the reviews before you select this Riad. If you are looking for the genuine Marrakech experience in a beautiful authentic Riad with great staff and very clean facilities then this is for you. If you are looking for the normal run of the mill boring hotel look elsewhere. Nadia and the staff are very helpful. You will be woken up at day break 5am with the call to prayers. Annoying but all part of the experience. Some tips to help with your stay. 1. Order the airport transfer through the hotel otherwise you WILL struggle to find it. It about a 50m walk from where the taxi stops down very narrow alleys. 2. Also let the hotel book any taxis you need as they walk you from the hotel door. 3. Get small local notes and change as fast as you can as No one seems to offer change and that results in excessive tips. 4. Download the map.me app on your phone. It works without Wi-Fi and signal so can be a good send. 5. You will get lost but don't worry ask shop keepers for directions and don't be put off by people telling you "that way is closed". They are trying to guide you so they can ask for money in reward. 6. Just around the corner from the Riad is a little shop for snacks etc 7. Learn "LA Shukran" said sharply means no thank you. This is like magic and stops any hassle.

The best thing about the Riad is the staff who will try and help you however they can. The Riad is very clean and comfortable and we decided to extend our stay. We therefore stayed in 3 different rooms and the only issue we had was in the canopy room where the air con was unable to cool the room effectively. We enjoyed the free breakfast that was slightly different every morning and the best mint tea we had in our whole trip was at Riad Vert. The Riad is a ten minutes walk from the souks but we liked this as it meant we got to know a non touristic part of the Medina.

Riad Vert is with no doubt the place to be in Marrakech. We had an amazing stay in Riat Vert, which I would define as dreamy, charming, and tranquil. Elegant decor and EXCELLENT service. The roof terrace is just perfect to take a break and cool off at the lovely pool. The food is scrumptious, an absolute melt in your moth. Nadia, who is the Ambassador at Riad Vert, makes you feel right at home. She is warm, kind, and extremely efficient. She takes good care of her guests and you can contact her even when she is off duty. Follow Nadia's wise tips as you will be in the best hands. The rest of the staff, cleaners, and night porter, are also excellent professionals. I strongly recommend Riad Vert if you are planning a getaway to Marrakech. I will definitely come back! From start to finish the team at Riad Vert were fantastic! Our room oozed morrocan style and was a pleasure to spend some relaxing time in. We had booked this room for our honeymoon and felt as though it was special enough for such occasion. The Riad itself is kept clean, tidy and a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of the medina on its doorstep. The inclusive breakfast was a brilliant way to start each of our days and there were great extras available on the breakfast menu. We also ate lunch and dinner at the Riad mutliple times, the quality of cuisine is that of some of the top restaurants we ate at in Marrekech! Great local dishes and one of the best tagines we ate all week! We took a day out from Marrakech to visit the Ouzoud Waterfalls, this was an excursion booked through the Riad. This was one of the best days we had on our honeymoon. We were picked up at 8am and chauffeured to the natural beauty spot, the car was a newer 4x4 - air con and super clean. We met our guide at the falls who asked what we wanted to do, he tailored our day to us. Being nature lovers our guide took us well off the beaten path to find birds and plantlife. We had a mint tea break and also a tasty lunch all included. It was lovely, the tour was just us two and we had a great time with the guide and driver who made us laugh and made sure we were looked after. I would 100% recommend Riad Vert to anyone who would like to stay in the medina and find an authentic Moroccan vibe. Th

Upon arrival the first thing you notice is the strong smell of cigarettes. Smoking is allowed in the courtyard which wafts into the rooms since they are off the courtyard. The building and furnishings are nice and the staff are friendly. There is no pool. There is a jetted tub with cold water about 8 feet by 8 feet and about a foot and a half deep. The breakfast is bread and jam which seems to be standard in Morocco. The worst part is the location. The Riad is far from the square and it takes about 40 minutes if you don't get lost but you will. At night they recommend you take a cab to get back. Definitely not safe for a single woman. There are no restaurants near the Riad. The only place to eat is in the Riad and the prices are quite high.
