The location and staff were great. The place could use some updating but well maintained for its age.

We enjoyed our stay, had great service and would return.

It was a very last minute booking because I didn't like my other hotel in Assisi up the hill, so I left there one day early (without able to get a refund) and booked this hotel, also because it was near Santa Maria degli Angeli where I wanted to visit on my last day, also nearer to train station. So it worked out well for me for the move. It was pouring rain when I checked in, but the staff was friendly and efficient.

Everything were perfect. All persons that we meet were very nice, at the desk, for the breakfast. The place is clean. We passed a good moments at the hotel.

I wish I would have known how far out this hotel was when I booked it. Could walk to Plaza of Mary of the Angels. Loved the hotel and the view of the basilica/old town of Assisi was priceless!

it was a little town outside of assisi. nothing fantastic . reasonable & acceptable service, although I was impressed with the gentlemen who served us coffee/cappuccino at the breakfast reception. he was very prompt, polite and was multi-tasking.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend highly.

A little dated facility but nice staff and good breakfast! One of the best cups of espresso I had in Italy.

Very, very tiny rooms (and I was one person in a double room), safe in the room was sketchy, not much of a breakfast. On the plus side, relatively close to the historic center, prompt email responses when I asked for directions on how to reach the hotel via bus.

I think this is a good choice for choosing "Hotel Cristallo" when visiting Assisi, although it is on locat in Assisi, but it would be easier to take the local bus for transpotation and for a good price.

The hotel is on a main road so traffic noise is an issue if you want a view (in our case made worse by the patio door not fitting flush). However, it is clean and the staff are friendly and breakfast has a reasonable continental type choice. It is a shame that the room’s balcony has no table or chairs and that there is only one chair in a double room. There is parking at the hotel and a good 1 Euro bus that takes you to Assisi and to the station. Overall the hotel is comfortable and the staff do their best but on days when bookings are low the management seem to try to save on having proper breakfast staff and use the reception staff which does not work. The dining room meals seemed very pricey but there are restaurants a km away. All this said we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is situated outside Assisi, about 5km far, so you'll need a car or other transportation to visit San Francis Church and its surroundings. The breakfast is disappointing, absolutely no fruits and low quality products. I don't recommend this hotel.

Room larger than average for this class of hotel. Large bath, with shower only. Good parking space in a very quite area. Staff was very friendly, helpful and cheerful. The excellent breakfast will suite any taste. Strongly recommended if you plan to visit Assisi (2 mls away)and its surroundings.

The facilities are more close to a 3 stars than a 4 stars. The service as well. Just indicated for retired people visiting Assisi.
