We enjoyed our three nights at the Hampton Inn in Webster. The breakfasts were good and the beds very comfortable. We were first put in a second floor room that had a heavy perfume odor. I went down to the desk to ask for a different room and the clerk (blonde with a tan) who had just come on duty (they had just switched shifts—this was about 3:15 on Dec 23) was rude to me when I told her the issue. She minimized our concern by asking me questions like “Do you wear cologne? Do you use Dove soap? etc.”. She finally very begrudgingly gave us a room on the third floor. This room was free of the odors.
Other than the rude clerk, we very much enjoyed our holiday stay. All the other staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
