Excellent place to stay

THIS IS A 3 STAR NOT 4 STAR HOTEL. We stayed during their off season and many of the hotel amenities were not available for use including the jacuzzi, pool bar, gym, and sauna which we were not made aware of prior to booking. The room was not clean when we arrived with stains on the bed and hair/garbage in the bathroom from the previous person. The door had gaps around it so noise came through meaning the vaccuming around 11pm at night kept us from getting the sleep we needed for an early morning tour. The pool was available but no bartender, and we found it wasn't cleaned daily as a massive wad of hair and brown liquid at the top was around for a few days. We also found smashed glass along the walking areas of the pool. Finally, it's hard to get a taxi to and from this place. The people were nice but I would not stay again.

Did not like that they charged for any ice needed, any hot water. Did not have free coffee at the lobby. Did not want to honor 20% discount for food and beverage per our reservation details.

The seclusion is nice and peaceful. The facilities are clean and well kept. They could use more lighting for the path between hotel and restaurant.

Great hotel with a picturesque surrounding made the stay memorable. However, finding Uber from the hotel to the city was very difficult.

This hotel was nice, but make sure you want to stay where it is located as it is on the outskirts of Arequipq proper. It feels like you are in a rural location with farm views outside your window. The place seemed to be under renovation in some parts, so there was some construction noise we had to deal with. The breakfast was really good and the rooms were nice and clean. We booked this hotel in large part because the picture on hotels.com website showed a sitting area for the “superior room, one king bed” and we wanted the extra space during our stay. I took a screen shot of the picture on my phone. It was a good thing because when we checked in, the front desk put us in a “standard” room that did not have this extra sitting area. Even after showing the picture to the front desk, we were told that the picture was of their “junior suite” and there was nothing they could do about it. I sent a note about this to hotels.com, and the next day hotel staff approached us, apologized and moved us to the advertised room. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi, but when we asked about the operating hours for the jacuzzi (as we were hoping to use it to relax in the evening after dinner) we were told that the jacuzzi required a reservation, and that there are only three reservation times offered each day - 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. This was useless for us as those times were when we were out sight-seeing. So while it was a nice property, some key amenities were unusable during our stay.

Our kids liked the lagoon on the property with ducks and pedal boats. The service at the front desk, particularly Patrice, was excellent. We did not like the fact that our room, although clean, had flies.

Friendly and spacious. Best bed for a while too. The shuttle to the airport an hour away is a bonus. Great place to reenergise.

We had one night planned and decided to stay another as the hotel was so nice! Staff were so friendly and lovely to us. Definitely recommend.

If you are looking for a new experience (outside the city), this is a good choose. For me and my family , it was a great experience wake up and see trough the room window, an excellent landscape: cows, ducks, crops and also a brilliant sun in the morning. Also, the hotel has a good swimpool and nice place for kids.

The hotel offers a welcome relief from the sometimes dusty centre of Arequipa. The setting was lovely with the restaurant overlooking the lake, and we were lucky to see some great white herons. The restaurant is a bit pricey for Peru, but the food was good. The included breakfast is good value, with a choice of fruit salad, yogurt, juice, cereals, toast and eggs cooked to your wishes.

We arrive for a 4am checkin after driving 12 hours and the gates were closed and no one was answering. We waited for an hour outside before we had Expedia call the hotel and tell them to come out. The shower head was also falling apart

Friendly people, clean rooms, Excelent food. Perfect for children. Very happy with my stay.

Nice hotel, lovely views, a bit far away from the city centre, but worth the traveling time if you are with small kids.

It is a very quiet place, excellent service and overall cleanliness

We had a great experience, it has all necessary. The worst part was the staff (they won't help nor offer anything) and the fact that they do not have AC (as it was offered). Swimming pool could be heated and they could put some effort on the food department, breackfast was poor, also service arround the pool area did not had much to offer. Place is great, there are activities nearby, it is only 20 minutes away from downtown so its location allouds to have everything close enough, but still were able to rest.

This is a gorgeous hotel. Rooms large, beds good, breakfast excellent. WIFI is spotty and frequently looses signal. Hotel is 20 minutes outside of town.

Hotel facilities outdated and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast is bad - chips, rice and soup?! And the worst scrambled eggs I've ever had. Reception staff say they've booked taxi's or reserved activities when they haven't. Swimming pool was absolutely filthy.
