Easy access to stadiums and dining.

Hollywood is a nice place to stay in a good location in Detroit. It is walkable from most parts of the city center. The hotel charged me $50 extra for a three-hour early check-in fee, which wasn't good customer service in my opinion--the room was ready, so why the extra charge? I had no choice but to pay the early fee because I was presenting at a conference and needed to leave my luggage, finalize my presentation, and shower and re-dress to prepare for the conference all before the 'official' check-in time of 3pm. A little more flexibility would go a long way in customer service on the hotel's part.

Only thing good about our room was the view. For an upscale hotel, the rooms lacked thorough cleanliness. Area carpets were not vacuumed, splatters of who knows what on walls and doors, dirt and dust along baseboards and window casings. This place has me doubting hotel stays anywhere in the future.

The room itslef, could have been more clean. For thr price of the room, I would expect toilet paper that wasnt one ply. Rooms were not quiet, all activities could be heard outside of the room unside your room. Food court, you could feel that the staff was unhappy and were fighting with guest.

They need to make sure their sheets are clean before checking customers into a room with sheets with spots on them. This hotel is to expensive for the inconvenience and for them to act as if that's not a big deal.

Rarely leave reviews but this deserves one. Tried to charge us $30 to check in 10 minutes early. Surrounding area is not inviting to say the least. Roads ripped up and closed all around. Nightmare driving. Parking was free which was nice. Entire property smelled like cigarettes and cheap perfume. Some staff arent wholly interested in amazing customer service. Rooms have thin walls. You can hear things in the room next door…. Not to mention the dulcet tones of vibrating bass from the road even on the 29th floor deep into the night. Out of staters will be left wondering what went wrong here. Best spring for those more expensive options.

Although we rated the hotel at 5 there were a few things that confused us. Firstly we missed the car park the first time around and had a bit of a drive to get back to it. Secondly, as the car park is for both the hotel and the Casino we weren’t sure where we should actually park, turns out anywhere. It would really have helped if that were made clear before arrival. The journey from the car park to the reception area was also confusing for me. Take the lift to floor 3, find other set of lifts, go to floor 1, check in n go back to lifts to get to your room or back to level 3 and the car park lifts to get to your luggage then back to level 3 and find the other lifts again. That being said the desk clerk was fabulous and we had been upgraded to a suite which was amazing. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Very special. Thank you. Check out was easy once you got to level 3 and then found the other lifts. At least we will know if we manage to go again.

The Property was beautiful and had great quality. The rooms and the service was excellent throughout. It is also very convenient and accessible to the casino and the city. The only draw back is all the construction around the outside of the property. The good news is that it will be fantastic once its done

Hotel room nice no microwave. You can hear loud music outside window not sure where it was coming from.

The bed had a brown diarrhea stain on it. We told the staff and they didnt seem very concerned.

Check I took over and hour. Valet took over 30 minutes. Could hear everything in hallways.
