The staff was very friendly and professional. We loved the fact that there were different restaurants to choose to dine on property without having to leave property. We ate on my actual Birthday6/10/25 at the steakhouse and the staff was great and the food was magnificent also the staff came out with dessert and sang Happy Birthday, next day we ate at the Asian restaurant which was beautiful as well as the others and the food and staff were magnificent. Third day we ate at the Italian restaurant with wonderful staff. Those were actually the nights we dressed up and actually felt like we were at a 5 star restaurant. There were other wonderful restaurants on the property like the wood fire pizza, the burger grille spot and also the dessert/ ice cream and red velvet dessert spot. All of the staff were awesome and polite and I definitely recommend to stay here because it’s definitely a cut above the rest. We have been traveling for years around the world and we have stayed at Sandals, The Ritz Carlton and number of All inclusive resorts. This by far tops all. Our room was the Junior Luxury Suite King with ocean view. The staff was very helpful. There were several beautiful seating areas to lounge all around the Sanctuary. We loved it and would definitely recommend this beautiful and peaceful location.

Problemas serios con playas repletas de algas. Un olor nauseabundo en todo el hotel y un alto costo que no merecio la pena. Cobran adicional si deseas tomar agua Perrier o San Pelegrino y de igual forma por bebidas Premium. No es un hotel que este a la altura del precio ni cerca de serlo. En plena mañana uno tratando de descansar maquinas corta cesped y excavadora retirando algas. Pesimo en todos los sentidos!!!

We were looking for a quiet, low key place and this was mostly that. However, the beach was not available due to a seaweed problem, but other resorts were able to keep their beach open if not in ideal condition. On several occasions the language barrier led to incorrect orders. Sometimes we were brought a zero dollar check to sign, and other times we were not which led to confusion. Finally the food was OK but was not great, even at the highest end places.

This property is not a 5-star with an above 9 rate- I have been at a lower rate, and my experience was way better! Dont fool with the review even Expedia didnt refund us we reached out! One of the worst things is the cleanliness, it's even worse than 4 starts; we changed our room and the bathroom was smelly for days, can you believe it?! The food was not good- I was Hungary during the day for 2 first days and after that I could just find some ham edible which was not in my diet, the reservation and occupancy were bad; we just abled once to entered the steakhouse with so many tires, and they made the resort full more than its capacity; it is cheap for such a rating and the amount you pay. We have been to similar resorts, which are more affordable and way better! If you want to enjoy and chill definitely you cant we were always worry about something, pool area beds was always full or bad food or reservation or bedroom dirts so many things!! I will just attach some photos that i got for Expedia to convince them we need a refund to go to another resort and they didnt accept, if you see in the toilet there is an stain, we tried to clean it with alcohol, didnt work, then the ground was some leaking that had an awful smell, the room was not clean it was dusty and drawers was not usable there were food residue. I tried to not focus on it to completely ruin my experience otherwise i would took a lot more photos to attach.

We loved the staff overall, especially all of the men & women who worked around the main pool, Manuel, Felix, the water aerobics crew, bartenders and staff at the tiki grill. Lots of activities!

The resort is beautiful, the staff is kind and welcoming! Our butler Miguel was wonderful! The Bali beds are so worth it, as well as our private beach dinner. The food was fantastic and overall the experience was amazing and we can’t wait to go back!!

The elevators could use some maintenance, and the food is occasionally a bit salty, but overall, everything else was excellent. The service, especially the staff truly stands out! is better than at most resorts throughout the whole Caribbean.

From the start, the atmosphere was anything but relaxing. A loud excavator was running all day right on the beach, completely disrupting any chance of enjoying the ocean or peaceful surroundings. It felt like we were vacationing on a construction site. On top of that, there was a constant push to spend more money. Nearly every interaction felt like a sales pitch. $75 for a bottle of basic drugstore wine? No thank you. The dining options were also surprisingly limited for a supposed “all-inclusive,” and the food overall did not match the resort’s advertised standards. The worst part — and what left me the most upset — was getting the MOST severe food poisoning of my life on the final night. It was so bad that we had to call for medication, only to be told it would cost $250 USD for a travel-size bottle of Pepto Bismol. I was sick, miserable, and then further taken advantage of financially. I honestly wish I could be reimbursed for the hell I went through during that ordeal. I feel tricked into believing this was one of the nicest all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic. It was absolutely not. Between the noise, the constant upselling, the limited food options, and a major health scare, I can’t in good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

I had an amazing time here with my friend! All of the staff was extremely helpful. Everyone was so kind and genuinely very happy to be there. It did not feel like work to the staff, they enjoyed making our trip very amazing. Felix, Yeremi, Emmanuel, John are just some names to name! Amazing place, lots of dining options and pool options! The beach is also right near the pool area! There’s music on the speakers for the pool area during the day and an amazing swim up bar. Even though there were a lot of people at the swim up bar, I never had to wait more than 2 mins for my beverages! When you are in the pool area there are a lot of staff members that come constantly to make sure you’re good and if you need anything! I did not pay for a single thing once I got on the property! I only tipped when necessary.
