Place was clean Staff helpfully Parking was good except people using handicap with out stickers

Fantastic hotel with well kept rooms, hallway and staircase. Traveling for business, in janitorial, those are the things that I look at.

It is to me a high end hotel. Very well maintained and excellent staff. The hotel has everything that you would expect to see in a high end hotel. Pool has salt water which is amazing. Would stay here again for sure.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The staff was very kind. Everything was clean and the breakfast in the morning hit the spot. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Poor lighting in the bathroom particularly when the shower curtain was used.

Convenient location right off the highway. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Comfortable bed, quiet, breakfast and parking included. Good price.

The jets in the jet tub didnt work but other then that it was a good stay

The room itself was ok. But the so called free breakfast is horrible. There was two workers there wasn’t any bowls for cereal had to wait for some. No milk had to wait. No spoons had to wait. They should have a hot breakfast like every other places.

Pool's water was warm and not excessive chlorine so you can open your eyes under water, room towels were changed every day

My stay! Hotel was spotless and staff were exceptional always willing to help us! Our room was perfect it was spacious, clean with plenty of towels. Beds and pillows were comfy. We stayed Mon to Tues and on these days there was only a cold breakfast otherwise 10/10 Excellent place to stay if your visiting the Barrie area. Location was great.

The pool

This is always our go to hotel when staying in Barrie. Always the best value. The hotel is convenient, clean and the continental breakfast ample. The air conditioners work and are quiet too.

The pool would rather small, six people in it and there's not a lot of space left. No hot tub. The bathtubs are rather large, for an elder step in and out is not an easy feat.

Unfortunately, my experience at the Monte Carlo Inn Barrie was overshadowed by the level of customer service. While the hotel itself was adequate, the interactions with the front desk staff (Heather) left much to be desired. I found the service to be unfriendly, unwelcoming, and lacking the basic level of hospitality I would expect from a hotel, both before arrival on the phone and during our stay. A particular disappointment was the handling of breakfast, where inconsistent information was provided and the situation was dealt with in a dismissive manner rather than with understanding or a customer-focused approach. Small moments like these can make a significant difference to a guest's overall experience. With more attentive, courteous, and solution-oriented customer service, this hotel could provide a much better stay. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I left feeling that guest satisfaction was not a priority.

We booked the room at a great rate. Hotel is close the the downtown. Hotel staff were amazing.

Where do I start? Booked and stayed for 4 days. 1. the elevator was not operational the entire time and had to lift and carry our belongings up 3 flights of stairs during the hottest period of the summer. 2. Room service did not fully do their job for half the stay. 3. the hot tub in the suite expelled a brown water when jets turned on. 4. the drains in both the tub and sink did not properly drain. 5. the toilet did not properly flush. 5. The carpeting smelled like dirty feet. 6, The front staff did not seem to care. 7. Presenting a food voucher for the free continental bfast is absolutely a pain. Had this hotel booked again this September and obviously have since cancelled our stay. Hotel bookers beware!!!!!

it was alright for the price. they couldn’t give me a room key cause the doors weren’t working which was weird the door wouldn’t latch on the inside to lock. and toliet was running funny didn’t complain cause it was one person working the front desk and had to wait like 15 mins for him to take me to the room and it was already late and i was exhausted
