This is a lovely hotel. It is beautifully furnished. It is on the outskirts of the town, about 30 minute walk along the beachfront. The breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of pastries, cakes, juice, and bread. For the most part, the staff was very nice - although the dining servers need a bit more training (no cutlery, the man at bar was unfriendly). Upstairs there is a quiet library which serves tea and cake in the afternoons.
There are a couple of things the hotel needs to improve upon:
1. The treadmill in the gym needs to be fixed. It is dangerous, as the belt is not fixed properly to the treadmill.
2. Although the hours of breakfast service are very good - the eggs (the only hot item on offer) were not put onto the buffet until after 7am. Also, the media lunes were also put out quite late.
3. It would be nice to have some fresh fruit (bananas, etc) on the buffet - as there was only a fruit salad.
4. the rooms are not soundproof. On one evening, we could hear the people above us - after midnight. And at 5am were awoken by a crying child next door.
