First of all, this hotel is within the Old City and just a couple of blocks from the Sunday Night Market which is set up on a main cross street which is closed to traffic for the evening. The hotel has a restaurant associated which was where our included breakfast was available. The food was excellent with various egg options and fresh baked goods. The hotel itself was what I would call the “essence of Chiang Mai.” Rustic, hardwood floors, excellent bed and bathroom. Coffee maker was Nespresso which we use at home and made excellent coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Associated religious shrines added to the feeling of authenticity. The airport is in the city and the cab ride cost only 150 Thai Baht. In short, perfect hotel for Chiang Mai, clean, close to shopping. Right next to most that circles the city and ha broad walkways. Overall great experience.
