Gorgeous location. Check-in was the worst part of my experience - its as if they were just not expecting us. They need to be more efficient. Also - concierge service below par - dinner reservations that were promised but never made. Staff need to be more attentive and honest. No excuses for this. Apart from this I loved the property and most of the amenities.

Amazing property. Great destination.

My daughter and I spent three nights here in Feb. We absolutely loved it! The grounds, pools, and beach are beautiful. We loved the Japanese restaurant - and the store on site has a TON of food options. During our stay, we were able to use the cute bicycles to ride around - and we took a van to the Buena entura Zoo too. If we stayed an extra day, we would have done an adventure -type activities (lots of options for fun things to do!).To get to the hotel, we took an Uber from Panama City and the hotel helped us arrange transport to the airport. All very easy. I highly recommend this gem and can't wait to return someday.

The grounds around the hotel are stunning, golf course, zoo, big villas. The room was very clean. the staff were very helpful and pleasant. But the facilities, especially the pools are in extreme need of repairs. Half the tiles were coming off or crumbled. The towels at the pool are extremely small. I had the worst tasting pina colada at the pool. All that said I would stay again, but I wouldn't give it 5 star.

Bathroom had mold in the shower- coffee maker need a deep clean

Common grounds are beautiful, however it seems that rooms haven’t been updated in many years, and need major improvements. The rooms for 4 are sold on 2 full beds, really hard to sleep for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. It’s completely overpriced for how bad the quality of the rooms currently are. It’s not a 5 star hotel for the price tag. Staff and customer service are excellent.

Luxury resort setting near the beach. Quiet and good restaurants

The property is nice but service is terrible if you need towels or anything delivered to your room it will never get delivered. We were at the pool and they had no towels. Basically the entire hotel had no towels and we were told they were in the laundry. Really don’t expect that from a Marriott.

Amazing beachfront property with many pools and excellent services. We liked the place so much that we stayed an extra night! Excellent and experienced staff, good restaurants and very clean. Will certainly go back

We had some hiccups during our stay (not attributable to the hotel) but the staff was always very kind and did everything on their power to make us feel comfortable and happy. I would like to mention that the attention of Luis Rivas to us was beyond excellent.
