The hotel was nicely appointed, the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a fair amount of street noise, but rooms on the back were pretty quiet. The breakfast was typical for Argentina. There are several restaurants and shops just around the corner, and it's close to the center of town.

Everything was excellent in the Diplomatic. The breakfast was exceptional. My only complaint is that they did not have an Iron or iron table for the room.

You arrive late and tired, then have to download an app to open your room with no option given to avoid this step. QR codes on everything which are aggravated by the spotty WiFi. Hotel decor is a bit tired but still comfortable with a decent breakfast. But the so-called “environmentally friendly” aspects overwhelm an otherwise good experience.

Lovely luxury hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, clean & crisp. Staff was helpful and friendly. Morning breakfast had a good variety of options. Location was right in the middle of festive activities and very walkable. AC kept the nights comfortable.

Large hotel with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms were large but felt very sterile and cold. Staff were pleasant breakfast was a large buffet Nothing stood out to make it special and it felt a bit pretentious. Aldo smell in lobby was unpleasant

Good location, spacious room.

Great hotel. Great location. Easy to walk to most of the interesting areas in Mendoza. The Concierge was great. They set up trips to the surrounding areas, changed dollars into Argentinian Pesos and even extended my checkout time to help make my flight arrangements easier. Highly recommended.

Very nice older hotel. Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. All of the staff were accessible, friendly and helpful.

Amazing

Have to mark this hotel based on representing itself as a 5 star. Here's what makes this hotel not a 5 star: - We arrive and there's no one to take our bags inside, absolutely no one waiting or to open the doors. - At check-in we are asked if someone is needed to take our bags to the room. This shouldn't be asked, it should already be done. - We asked for an iron and they don't provide one. Instead, they will iron for you and charge extortionate, 23800 to iron a dress. You can buy an iron for close to that here. - Breakfast, there is no service. You give your room number and it's all buffet. - Bidet in room doesn't work properly. - Gym is not a gym, there's one multi-gym machine for weights. There's no extra bench. The rest are cardio machines. - They give 2 small complimentary bottles on arrival and nothing after that. So you will need to pay for water or go to the nearest shop and stock up. Good things: it looks good and like a nice hotel, but there's no service and seems like it's more of a favour if there is. Sometimes there's a bunch of staff behind the front desk, all just chatting, not doing anything. So definitely something wrong, and no one is providing even a 3-star service, so have to mark as 2.
