Condition of chairs very old and damaged. Not replaced when asked Noise from upper floor units ablutions

Our host Vicki and her team were delightful and very helpful. After checking in, Vicki grabbed an umbrella as it was raining and walked with me back to the car to help us get our luggage. It's the first accommodation ever that the host told us not to do the dishes.. "you're on holiday, you shouldn't have to do dishes, we'll give you clean crockery & cutlery each morning." Exceptional. Earnslaw Lodge is an older style hotel, but very clean and comfortable and well lit with big windows. The room and bathroom were very spacious and had everything we needed. Central Queenstown and all the touristy things is a 10 minute walk away, along with the botanical gardens, and with cafes along the way if you want to stop off for a drink or a meal as we did on a couple of occasions. And the best bit.. the view from our room across the lake was magnificent, and all could be taken in from our balcony with outdoor setting or through the big window in our room if we wanted to stay inside. I would love to stay there again and highly recommend Earnslaw Lodge to anyone visiting Queenstown. Thank you Vicki and team.

It was a bit of a walk from downtown. Generally the property could use some maintenance.

Just okay. For $200/ night I would Have thought there would be a bit more: ie: shampoo and conditioner. There was a hair dryer but no outlet in the bathroom. Weird. It was fine- just not excellent. Great location- 15 minute walk into the town center.

Earnslaw Lodge was a great stay - a very friendly welcome, perfect room facilities and value for money. Proximity to Queenstown Centre was within walking distance also. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Handy location

Great stay with fabulous views from our unit. They were also kind enough to let me park my car for the day while we took a tour.

This property, although a little dated, was spacious, clean, quiet, close enough to the centre of town to walk, and the most stunning views imaginable.

Property bit dated but the view from the window made up for it !

Let’s start with the positive, the view to the lake and mountain was spectacular. Room was spacious and were able to make our meals in the room. Though situated on the main road, couldn’t hear the cars. Could update shower head. Fix the dripping toilet. The constant slamming noise of the fire doors at all hours was frustrating. Don’t think it’s suitable for families with young kids. No outdoor activities at the property. The carpark at the top, by the hedge needs a barrier against the front edge. . So you don’t drive too forward. In saying that. The motel suited our needs and good pricing. Would I stay there again. A high possibility..

The best thing about the hotel is the view. It should be updated.
