Had a lovely view of the golf course. Spacious room. Gym is great with a variety of weight and cardio machines.

Room wasn’t cleaned so also no tea/coffee/water replaced. Called reception and replacements promised within 10 minutes - never arrived after an hour so had to re request. No clean cups or spoons. Two power cuts first night with no answer to an Expedia message. Hotel was extremely dated and it is never a 4 star room and the receptionists all lacked basic pleasantries/communication skills. Much prefer Llechwen Hall stays. Golf course looked nice though

I fled from a domestic altercation. The staff ensured my safety and identity was protected and went over and above to ensure my needs were met. I can’t thank them enough for the professional compassion, humanity and kindness I was afforded. My room was a beautiful safe sanctuary , the hotel was a place to heal and recover in the spa pool and to relax on the balcony soaking up the sun fresh air and wonderful vista.

A pleasant night’s stay at this hotel on a golf course. We enjoyed the quiet and were pleased it had air con. The seating area outside was also lovely. And yes. We’d visit again, we are in the Cardiff area a lot so it’s good to have another option, especially when there are multiple events in town. All the staff were very friendly. We didn’t use the pool as it was shut quite early so had no time.

Disappointed not to get a balcony, especially since the hotel didn’t seem very busy at the time - felt like a room with one should’ve been available. On the plus side, the spa was excellent and a real highlight of the stay.

Spa very good, restaurant service good, staff pretty friendly. Booked 3 hotel rooms, one overlooking golf course had tremendous views, two facing a brick wall and lots of weeds pretty uninspiring. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

The rooms are starting to look very dated. No sockets near the bed. No usb sockets. Furniture in the rooms are very early 80’s and need smartening up. Bed was comfortable as were all the sheets. The room was comfortable and warm. Black out blinds are brilliant. Lovely balcony and view across the golf course. Amenities are great. Breakfast was amazing. Local fruit and produce. Plenty of everything.

Perfect getaway. Highly recommend.

Affordable spa hotel, dated, poor food and standard level of amenities. For what you pay, you get a decent bed, breakfast, pool. It’s not the best but it does the job.

Gym is equipped well for a weekend workout .

Staff @ reception and restaurant were outstanding they were polite attentive and had a great sense of humour the spa was warm welcoming of a high standard
