Very clean

Great place for a short or long stay.. Clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Beach on your doorstep and an easy walk into town. Would definitely recommend.

Very helpful obliging chauffeured us around would have picked us up from the railway station had we known. Couldn’t do enough for us . By the railway line and close to the beach. Laundry facilities good.

Wonder ful service on check in. Units are very clean & tidy. Love how NZers recycle! Bed was a bit saggy - but otherwise all facilities were great.

This is an older building complex, but has excellent comfort and room facilities with a good size lounge room, kitchen and bedroom all very clean and well presented. A family type management was friendly. The location is away from the main part of town, but walkable and could be a positive if you want a quieter stay.

Everything is perfect in this property, so we’ve booked an extra day to chill out! Thanks 👍

Really great motel with good facilities to self-cater. Friendly and helpful staff

We really enjoyed or stay here. I didn’t realise I had booked a unit with no cooking facilities other than a microwave which was very kindly and quickly sorted out by giving us an electric pan and a hot plate. Fantastic service.

The lovely lady I spoke to when I checked in was very welcoming, warm and friendly. The accomodation was comfortable, clean and had the amenities that we needed. The location is amazing and I slept so well with the sound of the waves lapping on the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Nicely equipped room. Had everything we needed. Friendly check-in. Parking directly outside the room was good for unloading and loading the car. The bed was comfy and the shower good. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach from the motel.

Absolutely perfect stay. From the friendly and helpful staff to the spick and span unit. Excellent bathroom and very comfortable beds. We loved our brief stay here. The units are fully equipped for meal prep and the New World Supermarket is 200m away. Town is a really pleasant 1.5km walk. The property has direct access to the beach and coastal walking track, the train line is adjacent for train spotting. On site laundry for a very reasonable price. Picnic tables tables for alfresco dining. Don’t change a thing !
