Breakfast was amazing compared to similar hotel chains

The advertisement and pics are way better than the reality. Dated & run down.

Great hotel at a great location, easy access and walking distance to Chambery town centre. Hotel is slightly dated however, but had all we needed for our stay. Dog friendly !

Pretty good place to stay

The staff was really nice, especially Joy in the breakfast room, and, at the front desk, Nathalie, Anthony and a very nice brown-haired lady whose name I should have asked for. She was working at the reception on Thursday evening (May 21st). It's always the people who make the difference, and these people obviously care for the customers. Thank you so much for having made my weekly stay with you extremely pleasant! Hope to be back one day. Louise (Québec)

Nice room. No fitted sheet but it was clean and had a nice kitchenette. The staff was very helpful and even let us store our bags the next day while we walked around town.

Staff had limited English. Halls looked dirty and dreary/drab. Beautiful view out our window. Cramped. Very poor amenities. Good location in that it was close to town center.

We arrived late but that wasn’t a problem. Very good staff.

Walking distance from the city centre. Available parking options close by, reasonable parking prices.

Room and corridor decor very dated and in need of a spruce up. There was a huge water tank in the toilet area. Double bed comfortable. Twin beds were very small. No washing up liquid provided in kitchen area. Mountain view from one room was lovely, the view from the other room over the Main Street was not as nice. Lounge area on floor one was nice. Complimentary drinks machine was a good amenity but several times was not stocked with all drinks. Ok for a short stay and if you are happy with basic accommodation. For a longer stay I would prefer something less shabby.
