Staff were very helpful restaurant was closed but they done a lovely pizza, room was basic bed was great slept well shower was powerful and breakfast was great even the smoked salmon.

Had overnight stay after ferry. Rooms like a UK budget hotel. Rest of hotel clean and well presented. Staff really friendly and helpful. Would recommend for overnight stay

Clean room, good amenities. Only unfortunate thing was the smoking area was just outside the reception area so smoke drifted into the room at all hours.

Very comfortable hotel for a stay nearby the industrial area of Bad Oldesloe

The hotel has gone a but downhill in the past few years. Fixtures and fittings are a bit tired. Not all of the rooms had the complimentary tea and coffee/kettle that is normally expected.

Such a beautiful place. Me and my family enjoyed this country style-like cozy place. We were attending a wedding party in the town, and were lucky to have your hotel as the sleep-over place.

I stayed at this hotel last year, it was comfortable and the staff were very nice and polite. but this year the rom was uncomfortable due to the extreme heat and the lack of air conditioning or a fan. You now have to pay for parking which I think is nonsense and it completely put me off. The staff in the dining area were unpleasant and overwhelmed by their work, one had to ask for coffee everyday, also very off putting. However the staff at the front desk were pleasant, Housekeeping staff were also not good, I had no fresh towels till I mentioned it to the front desk, my brother was locked in his room from the outside by housekeeping staff. In short I will not be returning to this hotel, Bad Oldesloe is a regular destination for me as I have family living there.

We arrived at the hotel, I went to park and my wife and son went to check in, the man and woman working reception were chatting away, laughing and joking while my wife just stood there. The clean towels were put on the shelf above the toilet, not knowing how long they had been there and how many people had used the toilet before. Disgusting!!! The room was freezing, which made sleeping difficult.

Lucky to get a hotel room as everything was booked up. I had another room booked thru Hotels.com but they cancelled on us for no reason. We ended up getting a smoking room as no others were available. This was our biggest complaint. The room was OK. Nothing special. But nothing terrible either for a European room. Not much else around the hotel. We had to drive several miles for dinner.

My stay was great. Nice quiet area, just make sure you include breakfast and/or dinner when you book. It gets very expensive very fast.

So called "superior room" has only one extra chair and a small table compared to a standard room. Definitely not worth the 25 Euro extra. Bed extremely hard.

After a long day it was a great place to stop. Will use the hotel again next time we visit Germany.
