For a 2-star hotel, it was serviceable but I would prob not return. The check in went well, but upon getting to my room, there was no comforter on the bed, just a thin blanket you’d normally use as a throw. No top sheet either, which would have been ok if there were a comforter. I asked for a second blanket as it was pretty chilly at night and you’d have thought my request was something outlandish. Also the staircase to my higher floor room was quite a haul with luggage. It’s ok it you’re in shape but not for the mobility challenged. Maybe there is a lift I was unaware of. Checkout was good, very courteous staff member who seemed to genuinely care about my stay.

Great location for the old city and restaurants

This hotel is in an excellent location with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was in great condition, however just to note that the single room is quite small and cosy! But there's a nice wardrobe nook with plenty of space for a small suitcase and room to hang clothes. And it has a cabin-like shower room/wet room, rather than a spacious full bathroom, but it was perfectly functional, good quality and clean, with soap and shampoo provided :) I had a good stay there! Plenty of bike rental places, shops and restaurants/cafes/bakeries a short walk away, as well as the beautiful lake nearby too.

Comfortable hotel for a one night stay.

Unfortunately we weren’t impressed with our stay. The room had weird smell of something old and unclean. The shower was leaking, the light in the bathroom was broken. Also no parking on site, which completely mislead us, because in advanced search field we specifically asked for the hotels with parking. Though location was great and Annecy itself was fantastic.

Convenient location. Twin room was a bit smaller than expected. Overall great experience.

Convenient location, and great to have the use of their working air-conditioning room. The room I was given is tiny though - without kettle or tea making facilities, never mind a larder fridge.

It was a nice room. I thought I booked a canal view but it was street view. The room had some smell once I got inside. But then after I kept the balcony door open for a bit, it was gone and no more smell in the evening. The location is very central. So, I didn’t use any means of transportation, as I walked everywhere. They offer free tea/coffee at the dining area on the GF level. It’s a small boutique hotel. There’s no lift, so, accessibility may be an issue. I’d recommend this hotel.

Good small room on the top floor. A but too tight for a couple. Clean place. Good location and price.

The reception desk has only one very sympathetic staff named after a flower...dont remmerber exactly which?! For the other 2 attendents, an average kind of service. The lack of an elevator is a weakness of this place.

Conviently located in the heart of “old town“. Room was small but had everything i needed.

The double standard room is very small. There are no stairs. But the location is great.

Excellent location. Close to bus station and in the heart of Old Town with amazing shopping and restaurant options. Best part of hotel was the very friendly and helpfuf staff. I arrived early and my room was not ready so my luggage was stored and I was given a tag to retrieve. I had a lovely walk in the area and when I returned, my luggage was already in my room, which was wonderful because there is no elevator/lift. I cannot say enough about the kind and helpful staff! Breakfast was also wonderful and reasonably priced. Excellent experience at Atipik Hotel!
