So many things about this property are wonderful. The staff at the restaurant and pool are fantastic. The grounds are lovely. The pool is amazing. Breakfast is weird, small selection, same every day, and nothing was the right temperature (meat, fruit, etc all warm like it sat out, scrambled eggs always empty or alternatively cold) The rooms are lovely and characteristic of a masseria. Unfortunately, they are incredibly warm and humid — they do have air conditioners but they are insufficient for the spaces. We were warm, muggy, sweaty, the whole time. I would dread staying there at the height of summer. Shower water pressure was nonexistent, and temperature was very inconsistent — sometimes very cold, then instantly hot, then cold again. Where the stay fell apart for us: the hotel would not honor our expedia vil €30 spa credit, and tried every excuse under the sun as to why it didn’t apply. They also charge 2 euro per water in the hotel room fridge. Supposedly the price is located in a booklet that includes all of the other advertisements for the masseria (restaurant, spa services, etc) but the mini fridge is otherwise empty. It is the only hotel in italy we stayed in where an empty mini fridge with only water in it charged for the water. The charge would have been fine if it was clearly posted, and if they hadn’t refused to honor the expedia booking credit. The shuttle to otranto never ran, and cabs are 25 euro each way. They suggested i drunk drive to dinner elsewher…

Charming farm style property and wonderful people who made our stay personal and saw to our every need. A family run business with farm to table cuisine, knowledgable and friendly staff. Pierpaolo was great to our family. I Highly recommend this country style resort, spa, and restaurant.

Our stay at Masseria Bandino & Spa was wonderful! The check-in process was quick and the woman checking us in was very helpful. The room was nice and spacious with a great air conditioning. Just outside our room was a little sitting area which was a great place to have our morning coffee. The pool area is beautiful and open to guests 24 hours a day! It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

This place was an amazing find. The location, just outside Otranto, made it an excellent tour base, yet was sufficiently far enough away to feel tranquil and peaceful. The facilities were excellent - rooms well decorated- super bathroom - great pool with plenty of sun beds. The restaurant served wonderful food - set menu or a la carte. Breakfast choices were ample and catered for all tastes. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Shuttle buses ran to the beach by day and into Otranto in the evening. Well done Masseria Bandino - you worked really hard to make our holiday enjoyable.

Amazing food! Very friendly staff! Great to have the pool and close proximity to Otranto and beaches.

We had perfect accommodation with a little garden with an olive tree and country views. We very much like the ambience of the hotel and it's quiet and calm, location. The food and staff are excellent. We very much enjoyed the long a varied walks we took right through the Reserve down to the sea or through the olive groves and surrounding countryside. Only downside was the bad wi-fi reception.

We stayed here two nights. Last time in Otranto this hotel was full so I was excited to be able to stay here. Everyone very friendly, our room comfortable with excellent lighting and the pool was delightful. Plus we had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. Would come back in a heartbeat. Also very easy to find.

The pool was well maintained, and the sun loungers reasonably comfortable. The main building - containing bar, reception, lounges etc. - the original farm building - was beautiful. The guest rooms and the dining conservatory were without charm - looked and felt like a motel. The quality of the food we tried varied enormously: buffet breakfast was very good quality, but dinners were a bit hit and miss - we worked out the best things to go for were the simplest - the chef really didn't know how to cook the more pretentious dishes on the menu, whereas simply grilled fish was delicious. The Masseria really didn't live up to expectations raised by its advertising, but the most disappointing thing was the attitude of the manager: his staff did their very best whenever we asked for anything, but he was just an Italian Basil Fawlty - totally stressed out , rushing around ineffectually, shouting at his staff and never a smile for a customer. Bizarre! Gave us no reason whatsoever to go back, or recommend this place to any friends.

Staff accueillants souriants et disponibles .. tous adorables. Chambre disposant du necessaire pour passer des nuits reposantes. Cadre apaisant Restauration : excellent et tres bon rapoort qualite prix avec le menu proposé. Nous devions ne rester qu une nuit et avons décidé de rester davantage afin de profiter du site. Nous recommandons 100%

bokat med kort varsel fick vi ett fint rum på bottenplan med lite förgård. Mycket bra och komfortabel säng (king size) All utrymmen välstädade och rent fint. Frukosten mycket bra och stort utbud på allt man kan önska sig. Speciellt vill jag nämna trevlig och tillmötesgående personal som var både kunnig och engagerade i sina arbeten. Till sist två stora plus i fri transport till centrum och laddplats för elbilar. Vi sparar restaurangbesök och poolbad då vi vill komma tillbaka nästa sommar.

Sehr nettes Personal, saubere und praktische Zimmer. Leider hatten wir andere Pläne aber das Essen Schein sehr gut zu sein.
