The reviews on this place caused me to almost have a panic attack so I wanted to come here and reassure people. It is bougie? No. But it gets the job done. We had two apartments - they were both clean. Water pressure was strong in the showers and the water was hot. The AC worked fine. We arrived while someone was there working (he was super nice and helpful) so no issue checking in. They have a luggage storage room which was super convenient. There is an elevator, but it doesn't stop on every level so do plan to have someone who is stronger and can lift your luggage up or down a few steps. The location is AMAZING - we were able to easily walk pretty much everywhere. There is graffiti and lots of people, but that's because you're in the Gothic quarter and one street away from Las Ramblas - what would you expect?! We never felt unsafe at all. I feel that the value was great and if you are looking for a high end/pampered experience - this may not be for you. If you just need a place to rest & shower with the convenience of being close to so many things - this is perfect!

Stayed here 2 nights with my husband and kids. The first impression as we walked to the entrance was not the best, bunt once you are in, it was very pleasant. There is no personal interaction with the help desk. Everything is done virtually and very easy to check in and check out. You can get a hold of the service desk by just picking up the phone in your room or the reception area. My only complaint is there was plenty of closet space but no iron.

Our stay at Aparthotel Ciutat Vella was fantastic! The location is unbeatable, just a one-minute walk from the bustling Rambla, putting us right in the middle of the lively city vibe. The apartment was impeccably clean and well-equipped with all the accessories we needed. The aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for—a beautifully restored old building with all the charm of its historical architecture intact. The staff were superb, always friendly and ready to assist with any request we had. In summary, Aparthotel Ciutat Vella provided a perfect blend of historic charm, modern comfort, and prime location. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the heart of the action!

Not a great place, showers was horrible, shower head was broken, water was blocked. Blankets looks very old no duvet only bed sheets and blanket. All apartment is very cold in winter. The look and feel in apartment is not great. Noises start coming from early morning and its not noise proof.

Wery nice apartment. Was staying for 2 nights with my family. Close to nice streets with food and shopping, and not to far from subway and bus. Apartment felt wery safe, and easy checking in and out. Had little trouble with finding the place, its a bit hidden. Elevator was wery tiny and still had to go down/up a few stairs in tight stairways with our tiny stroller. For us it was okay, but maybe difficult if you have a bigger stroller or wheelchair. But they might have other more accesable room for those Who might have problems with this, i dont know. But for seeing la rambla, or just need a place for a few days this apartments had everything we needed.
