More like a 3 star. Hotel is very dated. No air con

It’s the second time that we are coming to this beautiful establishment, we always feel at home. It’s the best hotel in the whole region. We recomend this establishment to anyone who wants to experience the best taste of France, gastronomy, the best service, the best comfort. The spa is fantastic and the pools are wonderful outside and inside.The employees make sure that you feel comfortable.

Everything were nice, except no AC. Breakfast is expensive. Restaurant was very good!

Fantastic hotel with attentive staff, cosy and clean room. Restaurant was fabulous, food great and lovely wine selection. It was a quick overnight stay so didn’t get chance to use the spa but will definitely visit again sometime.

If you’re in Condè Northen, this is the place. The staff is lovely, the restaurant is delectable and the area is calm and relaxing. We didn’t use the spa, but it looked lovely. Well worth a visit.

Very much the curate's egg. Some good things, some things not good at all. Dreadful receptionist on arrival, but charming and very helpful one on our departure. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner was rather good - not gourmet, but very good local food and good local wine. Our room was very hot (despite having a small fan) and had a strange odour. There were definitely not enough plug sockets, and the ones that there were were badly placed. The 'natural' outdoor pool was out of action!

The range of hotel facilities is impressive and well done. The food was excellent but the portions for the evening meal were enormous and we worried about the waste of the good food that we were unable to finish.

beautiful property, authentic, great food and service, state-of-the-art Spa, very cosy, and clean, great staff at the reception, this is a Must and best kept Secret if you visit the area. We will definitely be back soon!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

The food was good, the swimming pools and the gardens very beautiful and the breakfast very good but our room, which was the apartment and most expensive room in the hotel was ok, strange arrangement and furniture, no air condition so got very hot and my son bed literally under the roof so he couldn’t possibly stand on his bed.

Lovely hotel, would definitely stay again if in the area. I would have liked breakfast to be included in the cost of the stay.

Excellent stop over if you are travelling in Metz area. Location is ideal if you don’t want to stay in the city. The food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic with locally sourced meats and vegetables. Will definitely stay there again as it was comfortable and lots of character.

The suite was very spacious with an old world B&B feel with a large updated bathroom. There was no reception attendant and the manager spoke no English (my French is rusty) so we had to wait for someone to come up. We had to leave early at 7am (sign said the front desk was staffed at 6:30am) but no staff could be found. I booked using my free night and had paid the excess cost in advance but had a pending charge for room service. I left a note, my key, and a tip. After checking my checking account the next day, I was not only charged for the full cost of the room, I was charged twice! I called right away and sent my confirmation email to prove that the room was paid for in advance but didn’t hear anything. I had hotels.com reach out to confirm it and they had to follow up to be told the manager was investigating it. I’ll have to wait 72 hours and have two $300+ charges pending on my account (so I can’t use it). This is a good location for exploring the countryside but be warned that the bookkeeping is not up to snuff.

Excellent hotel and food. All amenities great except for the 17th Century shower worthy of a poor Bed an Breakfast. A 4 star hotel should have a shower that is not a flexi pipe that has to be adjusted from the bath taps for pressure and temperature and changes from boiling to freezing etc. Etc.
