Love staying in this place! I always try to stay here whenever I’m in Berlin. Very clean, quiet and close to u-Bahn. Highly recommended.

The place is very basic but clean and fine. I would recommend to anyone, who is not looking to a luxury accommodation, but understands that with such prices this is what you get.

I occupied a single room in a 4-bedroom flat. The room I stayed in for 5 nights was basic but very clean and warm. The towels were changed and rubbish was taken away every second day. Sandwiched between the communal bathroom of the flat and the main stairway, it was very noisy. However, with a good pair of earplugs, I managed to sleep well. The communal bathroom was cleaned daily and looked spotless. In the communal hall, there is a kettle and a fridge. Great location. For the price I paid, I consider having had a fab deal. I highly recommend this hotel but do bring some earplugs!

Every time I go to Berlin I try and stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, good location, very clean.

This hostel is very good value for the money. It is biking distance from anywhere you want to get to, but walking is a little too far. The room was clean and the shared bathrooms were cleaned every day. I was happy to stay and would stay there again if I were on a budget.

Second stay there. Much worse than the first one. Very old mattres with a 'hole' in the middle. Bathrooms not so clean... Probably not gonna make another booking there anymore...

Overall stay was good , as a budget hotel it was quite good. actually these are appartment where rooms are used for hotel guest. rooms were comfortable and there was a microwave and fridgw also available in the appartment. Front desk lady was very professional and helpful she even came with me to show the way of appartment.

Overall it was great. Location, comfort, cleanliness. It is an interesting way to check in and check out as the reception which I never visited and is a block or two away have very limited hours. One gets the key from a lock box and then returns the key in a key drop off box. Fortunately, I'm a clean person. Towels and room was suppose to be cleaned every 2 days, but that never happened. Shared bathroom is very clean. For the price, one can't complain. Much nicer than other hotels of similar price in other European countries. The Germans that I saw are very organized, clean, efficient and it creates a very safe environment.

Overall poor experience. Late check-in was available using some code but no-one was there on the counter till 13:00 next morning. We wanted to pay in cash, but the amount was deducted from the card, irrespective of mailing them that we will reach late. So don't trust what they write on the website for luring the customers. However, the location is quite near Alexanderplatz and thats the reasonable price for this place.

Overall the hotel was nice and clean, but definitely more suited to the budget or student traveller. The space was clean, bathroom modern, and the room had all amenities you would need for a short visit. My only complaint is that the bed was possibly the most uncomfortable bed I've slept on, but that just may have been my room - not sure!

It was very comfortable

This was a nice place, and clean. It is near the subway in the former East Berlin section of Berlin. A bakery is nearby, along with some miscellaneous shops. A supermarket is about a 15 minute walk away. The staff were nice. There is no elevator. So if the room is on the second floor, as mine was, it is up and down stairs each time you leave the room, including for the bathroom on the first floor if the second floor bathroom is occupied. One of the three nights I stayed here there were some very loud and boisterous people down the hall. The other two nights were quiet. No hotel staff are there in the evening.

Poor service. Our train to Berlin was delayed and we tried to phone at 9pm but nobody picked up. It turned out that check-in closed at 7pm which is ridiculous if you're backpacking and using the awful German train service.

My room wasn't in the main building of the hostel, but it was fine with me. There was one small bed, a wardrobe and sink in the room and to be honest, for a two-day-stay I didn't need much more. The biggest plus was the location, just 10 second walk from U-Bahn station. Really cheap place as well, so I guess it did the job for me. On the negative side - in the room where I lived, had once lived a cat (I could smell it).

We were unfairly overcharged by the rude staff, the Wifi wasn't working and shared bathrooms are in disrepair with a hole in the basin - overall bad experience!

Easy few minute walk to train station (weberwiese) and just a few stops to Alexanderplatz. Good TV, nice bed, restaurants nearby (block house steak restaurant etc).

This was a very nice, clean and inexpensive hotel very close to Aleksanderplatz. I'd happily recommend it to anyone, and would stay there again if I returned to Berlin.

OK hostel. Not really close to anything, but overlooking a nice cemetery. Room was tiny, shared bathroom. But if you're traveling on a budget and plan to stay one or two nights - this is an OK choice.
