Front desk was so friendly and nice, unlike Barcelona hotels. The location is so close to the Main Street where there are many restaurants and main attractions. Great hotel

NO elevator....which I did read on the reviews But didn't know exactly many flights of stairs to the 3rd floor. Could live with that. Found out in morning there was no hot water. Reported to front desk. They let us take a shower in the room next door. Came back that night and still no hot water but could not use another room Next day moved us. Bigger room..nice but hot water lasted less than a minute. They did comp us for one night. Would not go back

For a hostal this place was very comfortable, safe, clean and well located. Reception was very friendly and communicative.

Great location! Right next to the Gran Via. A very basic but clean hostel. Also very secure. I’d stay there in the future.

Very clean and near the center of Madrid

Room was adequate without any frills but was perfectly clean and sufficient. Walls were very paper thin and sound was very permeable from adjacent rooms and hallways.Shower was also slightly broken but did not cause a major issue. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and provided good suggestions for bars/restaurants/coffee however we did experience some difficulty checking out as we had to leave very early in the morning to catch a flight and we were unable to reach the concierge to check out and return our keys even though the service was 24/7. Location is fantastic and in good walking distance to many sights/bars/food etc.
