Very clean and tidy and welcoming

Staff were fantastic, very welcoming. Room was amazing, everything was beyond expectations. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits, chocolate bar, sewing equipment, shoeshine and lots more were provided in our room. It was central to the beach and amenities and to top it off the the breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is clean and tidy. The location is within walking distance to the seafront, the pier and the town centre, and is very close to plenty of restaurants and places to eat. The hotel owners/staff were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from. The room was spacious and had everything needed for our short stay, including tea/coffee facilities, sewing kits, plenty of soaps and shampoos, washing up liquid and air freshener spray. Although there was no air conditioning, there was a fan and a cooler fridge, which kept our drinks etc. fresh (a bonus you don't find in many other hotels). We really enjoyed our stay - thank you.

Very pleasant hotel and lovely owners and staff. An old building with character features but clean and tidy. The room was large with a huge double bed, TV, tea & coffee making facilities and a small fridge. The bathroom was modern clean and tidy with lots or towels, but beware the seagulls are noisy if you have your window open. The breakfast was good with a large selection of fruit, cereals or cooked. There is parking outside and it is only a short walk to the Clacton Pier and Beach and Preso's Restaurant.

Female solo traveller, stayed 5 nights, had a wonderful time, everything was perfect, felt safe and welcome, such a lovely vibe, so chill and stress free. All the staff and the owners are all professional and easy to talk to. The breakfast was outstanding and comprehensive, delicious and plentiful. The room was like coming home :) clean, comforting and every amenity was provided for. Generous supplies in the room and exquisite bed linen. I booked to return while I was there! Good value for money. The single room was, as expected, small but clean and perfectly adequate with ensuite, TV and good tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was excellent, with a varied choice. I was kindly allowed to check in to my room a long while before stated time. Parking is limited to six spaces in front of hotel. Owner very friendly and welcoming.

Carol and her team give amazing service... a good ole fashioned B & B where service and care are second to none. From the extra delights in the room, including biscuits and chocolate with numerous tea and coffee choices, to the towels, with flannel, and a breakfast menu which is extensive and means 'no lunch required'. Carol is an absolute gem too taking interest. Great stay.

An excellent stay close to the beach.

The room was very clean. The staff very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent with relaxed background music.

The parking was right in front of the hotel and was free, the breakfast was great and fresh, there was stuff in the room to make coffee or tea also cookies and chocolate , nice place to stay within minutes to the beach/pier, very sweet people working there

Perfect great stay

As usual spot on, cant fault the place. We have stayed there many times and have never been dissapointed. So clean, attention to detail, owners and staff are amazihg, breakfast outstanding. Thank you as always Carol, Peter, Katie, etc... xx
