Getaway free from day to day issues

We arrived at 3:40 in the valet line. They called a bellhop to help us with our things,he was one person running around trying to help everyone. We waited on line to register, then after registering were told that rooms weren't ready yet. There were other groups waiting as well. When we were called to let us know our room was ready we went up to the front desk and was told we needed to wait on line again with people who hadn't registered yet. There were about 12 groups on line at this point. I couldn't believe it, so while my husband waited I went up to the desk to ask another agent and she said there wasn't a separate line for guests who already checked in. She said there weren't enough agents working. I said that was ridiculous and she gave me the keys right away. The food in the restaurants in the casino was not very good at all. The wait in flavortown was very long. We waited for soup and a sandwich, and nachos for almost 40 minutes. This was a Sunday night through Tuesday trip. Not crowded at all either in the restaurant or in the casino. The staff in the hotel were very nice but it is very clear that they are short staffed and you have to wait for everything. I can't imagine how it is on a busy weekend.

There is no mini fridge - only a mini bar where you automatically get charged if you touch anything. I was told while checking out that I could have rented a mini fridge for an additional fee... There was also no microwave. I was a bit disappointed with these things considering the price. However, it is a good place to stay if you will take advantage of what the facility has to offer - the casino, restaurants, and pool.

Welcoming

We are originally from the Poconos. We knew it was a conveinent location to visit family. The staff were great, very focused on providing excellent service. The only thing we were less pleased was the smell of cigarette smoke as you enter the hotel.

Valet staff was great, hotel staff was awful, casino staff was horrible, rude and lacked any customer service skills. Property was clean and well kept.

The property is very clean and modern. Staff was helpful and kind. I plan on returning soon. I love how the suite was layed out.

Property was very clean and so were rooms and quiet. Only problem was the pool closed about 4 hours earlier than it was supposed to because we were told it was going to rain in which case it never did. This included the indoor pool as well which made no sense. This is one of the main reason some guest come to the resort and many expressed that as we were leaving the pool. I think that hotel should wait until it starts to rain instead of evacuating the pool area because of a few clouds. Some resorts never close the pool when it rains especially indoor pools.
