Great for family. Very clean and modern. Great views of the mountains.

Overall fine stay but they seemed to be quite short staffed. it took them 45 minutes to replace a coffee machine, and when they came the first time they simply brought coffee cups not the machine forcing me to wait for the machine in the lobby to try to instill a sense of urgency. I also went to ask the front desk a question and the woman literally shooed at me to say that she was busy and i needed to wait for the next receptionist. Beautiful hotel but staff is not equipped to manage clients.

The resort was new and continuing to expand. Construction impact was minimal. Rooms are modern and very comfortable. Tap water is filtered and was good to drink and use for coffee.

The hotel could use some help. I was looking forward to my getaway, but found myself overwhelmed with issues that kept coming up. It did not make the stay relaxing. The bathroom fan was broken and stayed on all night, the drain in the bathtub didn’t work, the thermostat kept making a clicking sound, housekeeping arrived late and I couldn’t get back into my room, I was told there was ice in the fridge and there wasn’t, the room service meal I ordered had a piece of trash in it…I’m not making this up. Also, the only parking option is valet for $60 a night. Didn’t see that coming! Either I have bad luck or this hotel is really struggling to hold it together.

This is a great hotel in Aspen area. Great for family. Amazing pool. Maroonbells is quick drive. Great food. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Great place for quiet relaxation.

ViceRoy Snowmass Aspen was an amazing five star resort that was a dream ski vacation.

The hotel conditions are very nice, the ski equipment service is very well organized and very convenient. The transportation help provided by the hotel to nearby places is exceptional. Concierge was not very helpful in 3 occassions we needed some help though and dining service at the lounge of the hotel was not the best either. But overall , the rest of the experience was so good that I'd come back here.

The ski valet and front door personnel were excellent.

Revisited the hotel after years, the service levels have gone down a lot. Hotel reception staff appear to be temp and not trained, some of them surprisingly rude(!). Calls for service ignored intermittently. Will not be returning here. Expedia needs to review their 9 rating I see a lot of recent negative reviews

Expensive overall - but that’s Aspen. Restaurant was very good, facilities 1st class. Ski in/out, hot pools, ski shop. Couldn’t fault anything
