To summarise - Unable to add another night to the booking via Hotels.com, had to cancel booking and rebook. This then made it more expensive as price had gone up. I was told by hotels.com that this was due to the hotels policy. Reception were unfriendly, I was told nothing about breakfast times or anything useful on arrival.Booked a double room - we arrived and there were two singles. The room was a superior room, not what you would describe as Superior. Safe didn't work. Air conditioning didn't work. Ordered room service, this was dealt with like it was a huge inconvenience and they were rude. Room service tray with dirty plates not removed from room when cleaned the next day.
Oh and the best thing, they literally had 100's of children staying at the hotel for a nearby football tournament, the noise was something else. Not what you would hope for on a couple long weekend spa break.
