Generally a good experience. Entering and leaving the car park from the main road takes a bit of forward planning but that was easily addressed

The owners were very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We had an early start planned and they set us up for the day with a packed breakfast. Easy to find. Comfortable room. Plenty of parking.

I had a night's stop over at Banbury and chose Ashlea Guest House based on the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. I had a warm welcome from Julie and a quick check-in. Julie gave me a map of the locale and pointed out places to eat. My room was clean and had everything I needed - a super-comfortable kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom with plenty of hot water via an electric shower, big fluffy towels and some nice touches such as magnifying makeup mirror, cotton wool pads and buds. The room was lovely and quiet and I got a great night's sleep.

Julie and Ayman are great hosts. You do feel like you're a guest in their home. We had several fun conversations with them, and a couple of times found myself feeling like I was talking to an extended family member (Ayman and his strong feelings about diesel and electric cars comes to mind, as well as Julie and her careful breakfast service). Overall it was the personal experience we were hoping for as visiting Americans. Only other thoughts are: there is no tennis court on site. That might be a mistakenly advertised amenity. And there are no other comfortable places to sit while on site, in case you find yourself on the property. These are minor things, of course, and if you're just using the place for sleep and breakfast, not a bother at all. Recommend the place.

We found everything satisfactory

Lovely! I would go back if I am ever in the area. The hosts were very friendly and flexible with our check-in, as we would arrive very late. They left us the keys in a safety box outside the house; which was much appreciated. The rooms are spacious and the beds are huge and super comfortable.

Didn't see the hosts once besides them giving me the keys, neither the man nor the woman offered to help with my bags even when they saw me struggling to manage everything. There was one towel, no body lotion, I'm not impressed at all
