The staff at this hotel are very kind and helpful. I had to communicate with the staff to get help to get to the hotel from the Zurich HB railway station. They promptly answered all my emails and gave me directions. They also gave us some suggested activities. We took their advice and did a day trip to Pilatus ( Alps). It was fantastic!

The hotel is perfect for a Zurich stay. We had a 5 year old and there is a decent playground down the street. The staff was wonderful. I literally got a brush stuck in my hair as I was preparing for a presentation at U Zurich. My family was out and the staff patiently got it out of my hair. Very pleasant breakfast. No air conditioning but it cools off in the evening.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter when we visited Zurich. The location was close to a tram stop and the metro so getting to downtown Zurich was easy (once you got the connections figured out). They were also only a 20ish minutes tram ride from the airport. We also really enjoyed that they were city near the city and the country. They had bicycles that we borrowed for a couple of hours (complimentary!) and rode to a nearby town. Bike paths were amazing and we got to see a different side to Switzerland. Most of the staff were super helpful 4 out of 5 stars there. There was one lady that was not very friendly or helpful but the others made up for it. Room was just what we needed! No AC but they did provide a fan and the windows opened to get the cooler night air temps. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel near Zurich!

Only stayed for 2 nights, the pillows were way too soft, if we’d stayed longer I would have asked for extra pillows. The breakfast was ok ,

Unprofessional staff when checking in. The hotel is made up of more than one building and I was in a building with no lift. I am not sure how this works for people with a lot of luggage.

A very affordable option for an otherwise very expensive city! Ideal for short business trips or those on a walking holiday. Clean, comfortable rooms. It's definitely the budget and of the Sorell collection of hotels but still has a few trademark perks like Rituals toiletries and a pillow menu.

The advertisement on Orbitz for this hotel was not accurate. We were placed in the older building with no elevator. With heavy luggages this was not convenient at all or older people will not make the two flight of stairs with heavy luggage. Also no air conditioner in the room, window was opened so you can hear the traffic noise.They have a newer hotel but they put us in the older building. The room was clean but our door shakes and makes noise when another guests open their door. Hallway carpeting is old. Shower was very small and old. Staff is very nice and breakfast was good.
